(Minghui.org) One night in the early 2000s, I went out to distribute truth-clarification materials. I rode my bicycle from one village to another without encountering any problems, which gave me a sense of joy. However, when I arrived at the Experimental High School, the situation felt a bit unusual. As a result, I quickly wrapped up my task and moved on to another village.
On my way back, I saw several police cars blocking a busy road. The police were stopping and checking pedestrians. I suspected that someone might have reported my actions at the Experimental High School. During that time, the police responded swiftly and showed no leniency in persecuting Dafa practitioners. I realized I was very close to the checkpoint, and turning back would only raise suspicion. So I had no choice but to go forward bravely.
While reciting Master’s poem:
“Dafa does not leave the body,The heart harbors Zhen-Shan-Ren;In the world is a great Arhat,Spirits and ghosts fear greatly.”(“Mighty Virtue,” Hong Yin)
I covered the remaining Dafa materials in my basket and walked toward the police cars. There were many officers present, but none of them paid attention to me. As soon as I passed the checkpoint, I quickly got on my bicycle and sped away.
As I passed a residential area, I thought I should distribute the remaining materials there rather than take them home. This residential area had only one entrance and exit to the main road, which connected to several alleys. I started at the first alley and distributed two packets of materials. Suddenly, I heard police sirens coming in my direction.
I realized that my feeling panicked while riding away earlier might have drawn suspicion. Acting quickly, I placed the remaining materials into a plastic bag and left it at the door of a nearby house. Staying calm, I relied on righteous thoughts and rationality to handle any unexpected situation. I reminded myself not to be afraid. I had no choice but to face whatever was coming.
At that moment, I heard a car stop. The sound of a door opening and the footsteps of someone getting out were unmistakable. I repeated to myself: “As a Dafa practitioner, I am doing the right thing and have nothing to fear.” In that instant, I let go of all attachments.
With a sense of letting go of life and death, I walked out of the alley. My mind was blank. The first thing I saw was the only entrance to the residential area, and there was no one there. Compared to the chaotic sounds I had just heard, the scene before me was surreal. I wondered: “Did I hear it wrong? No, the sirens were loud and clear in the stillness of the night—there is no way I could have imagined it.” I was overcome with gratitude as I realized I had just experienced Master’s protection and boundless compassion!
On my way home, I was deeply moved. I knew that if the police had entered the alley, they would have quickly found the materials I had just distributed. Considering that I was on probation at the time, the consequences could have been severe.
Having practiced Dafa for more than 20 years, I have experienced many ups and downs, but I’ve always been blessed by Master’s boundless compassion. I will continue doing the three things diligently, knowing that as long as we immerse ourselves in Dafa, Master will always protect true practitioners. No matter how many difficulties and dangers we face, we will always find the strength to overcome them!
