(Minghui.org) One afternoon, after my wife got off work and was returning home, she saw a lady fall on the side of the road not far from a traffic light. She saw that the lady seemed a bit confused. My wife asked the traffic police to help, but they ignored her, and none of the passersby showed any concern, so she called me to come help.

I was initially annoyed that she was being meddlesome. I thought it might be very hard to help the woman find where she lived, because she was confused. But I was concerned that she might be subjected to organ-harvesting if we took her to a shelter.

When I thought about it again, I remembered stories I had read on the Minghui.org website about Dafa practitioners unselfishly helping and sheltering people in distress. I changed my mind and thought that my wife was doing the right thing by trying to help the lady.

By the time I got to the spot, the woman was more clear-headed, and told us that she had traveled from Yi County to live here with her children. She had left her daughter’s and was on her way to her son’s when she fainted. She was too tired to walk any further and said she could not remember where her children lived. She said her daughter’s place was somewhere near Jiqing [a nearby town].

We helped the lady get onto the back seat of my electric bicycle, and I drove very slowly towards Jiqing. My wife followed behind. On the way, we chatted with the lady and clarified the truth to her about Falun Dafa. We also told her the importance of quitting the CCP organizations. The lady told us she had joined the Young Pioneers when she was young, and then agreed to quit the organization.

Jiqing is a big place, and it was impossible to find her daughter without an address. I asked Master to give me a hint.

As we were passing by a restaurant, a staff member came out to see off some guests. I heard the lady quietly say, “Xiao Hong.” No one responded to her, so I kept riding past the restaurant. Then, I thought, “Could the lady be calling her daughter’s name?” So, I turned around.

Just then, the staff member saw the lady and said in surprise, “Mom, why are you sitting on a stranger’s bike?” Upon hearing this, I helped the lady get off the bike. Her daughter thanked me and told me that her mother was suffering from cerebellar atrophy, which caused her to fall from time to time.

We almost missed the lady’s daughter. I was grateful to Master for helping us find the woman in an extremely difficult situation, and for the opportunity to help her quit the CCP organization.
