(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Rui and Ms. Li Li Tried
2. [Honghu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Qinyu Tried
3. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Lanying Appeared in Court
4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Hongmei and Ms. Zhang Yulan Detained
5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yu Xiaofeng Detained
6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Family of Four Arrested, Daughter Still Detained
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiyun Detained

1. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Rui and Ms. Li Li Tried

Ms. Shi Rui and Ms. Li Li were both tried by the Yunhe Court on February 25, 2025.

2. [Honghu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Qinyu Tried

Ms. Wu Qinyu, 74, was tried by the Honghu City Court on February 24, 2025. She was arrested at home by more than ten officers from Honghu City Domestic Security Division and the police station of her jurisdiction on the morning of April 29, 2024, after being reported for distributing Falun Gong materials. The police located her after poring over footage from street cameras. Her Falun Gong books, computers, portable hard drives, media players, and Falun Gong printouts were confiscated. She was released on bail at night.

3. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Lanying Appears in Court

Ms. Zhao Lanying was tried by the Daoli District Court on the afternoon of February 20, 2025.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Hongmei and Ms. Zhang Yulan Detained

Ms. Li Hongmei and Ms. Zhang Yulan of Qingzhou City were arrested by Domestic Security Division officers on the evening of February 21, 2025, when they were distributing Falun Gong flyers. The police ransacked their homes. They are being held in Weifang City Detention Center.

5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yu Xiaofeng Detained

Ms. Yu Xiaofeng, around 60, of Daoli District, was arrested at home by Xinfa Town Police Station officers on the morning of February 23, 2025. Her cell phone was confiscated. She was put under administrative detention. Her detention left her 80-year-old mother and ailing husband in a dire situation.

6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Family of Four Arrested, Daughter Still Detained

Ms. Wang Yan’s son was arrested at home by ten officers from Haocun Police Station, Hualin Police Station, and Heping Police Station at 11 p.m. on February 19, 2025. The officers ransacked the place and seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, cell phones, computers, and printers.

The officers then went to Ms. Wang’s home, ransacked the place, and seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, cell phones, more than ten copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and over 100 yuan in cash. Ms. Wang, her husband and daughter were arrested. Ms. Wang and her husband were taken to the Hualin Police Station; their daughter and son were taken to the Heping Police Station and Haocun Police Station, respectively.

Ms. Wang, her husband and son were released on February 20, 2025. Their daughter was later transferred to the Handan City Lockup and remains detained.

Ms. Wang was arrested again on the afternoon of February 21, 2025. She was forced to undergo a physical exam that was required for detention. Due to her dangerously high blood pressure, she was deemed to be unfit for detention and then released.

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiyun Detained

Ms. Zhang Cuiyun was arrested in a street market by Nanfan Police Station officers on the morning of January 14, 2025, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was put into Guye District Lockup on January 15 and released on January 24.
