(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their faith.

2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Xiuping Detained

4. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Wenge Missing
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Yu Held in Prison
6. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Tianzhen Dies Shortly After Serving a Third Prison Term
7. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Du Shuhui Sentenced to Prison
1. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Sun Guixiang Tried
Ms. Sun Guixiang was tried by the Aimin District Court at 9 a.m. on April 2, 2025.
2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Xiuping Detained
Ms. Wang Xiuping, in her 50s, from Fuyu County, was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested at home on the morning of March 31, 2025, by officers led by Li Peng, deputy head of the Domestic Security Division. The officers confiscated several Falun Gong books from her, then went to her mother’s home and removed another Falun Gong book.
Ms. Wang is being held in the Fuyu County Detention Center for 15 days.
3. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Jinhua Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhang Jinhua from Jishu Sub-district was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center by people from the Shulan City Political and Legal Affairs Committee around March 20, 2025.
4. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lu Wenge Missing
Ms. Lu Wenge, a native of Ning’an City who moved to Mudanjiang City to hide from the police, was arrested at her temporary residence on March 20, 2025.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Yu Held in Prison
It was recently reported that Ms. Guo Yu, in her 60s, was sentenced to seven-and-a half-years in prison. She has been admitted to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison.
6. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Tianzhen Dies Shortly After Serving a Third Prison Term
Ms. Tang Tianzhen was arrested, had her home ransacked, and was sentenced to prison several times for telling people the facts about Falun Gong and distributing informational materials.
Ms. Tang was last sentenced to three and a half years in prison, which she served sometime between 2019 and 2024. After being released from prison, she was frequently harassed and intimidated by police officer Zhang Tingtao and residential committee staffers. She passed away shortly after.
7. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Du Shuhui Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Du Shuhui was sentenced to four years in prison by the Mian County Court on January 10, 2025. She appealed, but judge Li Sitong of the higher court refused to hold a hearing for her appeal case.
