(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Leng Xiaocheng Faces Trial

Mr. Leng Xiaocheng of Jinan City was arrested at home on April 11, 2024, by police from both Jinan and Bengbu City, Anhui Province. He was scheduled to appear in the Huaishang District Court in Bengbu at 9:30 a.m. on June 24, 2025.

2. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Feng Guoqing Faces Trial

Mr. Feng Guoqing of Jinlin District was scheduled to be tried by the Yimei District Court on the morning of June 20, 2025.

Mr. Feng was arrested on the afternoon of December 4, 2024. More than 200,000 yuan cash was confiscated by police. He has since been held in the Yichun Detention Center. He was tortured while under the command of Jinlin District Police Department director Xie Xueyi and 610 Office director Zhou Cheng. He held a hunger strike to protest the persecution. They stripped him naked, handcuffed his four limbs to the bed in a spread-eagle position, and force-fed him. He wasn’t allowed to get off to use the restroom, and had to relieve himself in the bed. The hunger strike lasted for over 40 days and he suffered kidney failure as a result.

3. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yan Yulan Arrested

Ms. Yan Yulan of Yangjia Town was arrested by Tianyuan Town Police Station officers on the morning of June 12, 2025, after a resident reported her for placing Falun Gong flyers in an apartment hallway. Her whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Yu Jian Arrested

Yu Jian, gender unknown, a teacher at Dalian City 34th Middle School, was arrested around mid-June 2025, by Renmin Road Police Station officers. Someone photographed Yu talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong, and putting up Falun Gong flyers. Officers ransacked Yu’s home and seized computers, along with paper currency imprinted with Falun Gong messages.

5. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Lyu Tonggang Arrested

Mr. Lyu Tonggang of Daming Town, Ningcheng County was arrested around April 24, 2025. He is being held in the Ningcheng County Detention Center.

6. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Ying’s Family Held as Hostages

Officers from the Yun Road Police Station attempted to arrest Ms. Xie Ying on June 15, 2025. As she was not home, they arrested two of her family members instead and held them at the police station. The police said they wouldn’t release her family members unless she turned herself in.

7. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners’ Homes Ransacked

Ms. Hu Jie wasn’t in when the police went to her home to arrest her on June 3, 2025. They ransacked her place and confiscated all items related to Falun Gong.

Chen Li, gender unknown, returned home at an unknown date, and saw police in the front yard. Chen has since been forced to live away from home to hide from the police. The police ransacked Chen’s home and seized all Falun Gong-related items.

8. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Suping Arrested

Ms. Hu Suping was arrested by eight officers from the Silipeng Police Station at noon on June 10, 2025. She was taken to the police station for interrogation and released two hours later. She noticed that the police were following her when she went out the next day.
