(Minghui.org) On the 26th anniversary of their efforts to call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, practitioners held activities throughout France July 19-20, 2025, to expose the persecution of Falun Gong.

Activities at the Place André Tardieu

Practitioners held a rally at the Place André Tardieu near the Chinese Embassy in Paris on the afternoon of July 19, 2025. They clarified the truth about the persecution, demonstrated the exercises, and collected signatures on a petition. They raised awareness of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, which has been ongoing for the past 26 years, and called for people from all walks of life to take note of the CCP’s transnational repression, so they can work together to help end the persecution.

Some French MPs sent letters of support, expressing their concern about the persecution of Falun Gong.

In his letter dated July 16, 2025, Philippe Latombe, a member of the National Assembly from Vendée, stated, “We will support all measures that proceed toward justice.”

Another member of the National Assembly from Vendée, MP Véronique Besse, had her staff send a reply on July 17, 2025: “We thank you for the information and the efforts that you have made. MP Besse is very sensitive to the concerns that you have expressed and the seriousness of the situation that you described. Your evidence and testimony will be taken into consideration in her future work in Congress.”

Event on Reunion Island

Falun Gong practitioners on Reunion Island, a French territory in the Indian Ocean, set up an information booth in Sao Paulo’s city center on July 20, 2025. They wanted to inform local residents and tourists about how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong.

The booth was set up on the promenade that leads to the market which is open every Saturday. Many people talked with practitioners and learned about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.

Practitioners on Reunion Island demonstrated the exercises in front of the information booth in Sao Paulo’s city center.

Some people were drawn by the peaceful exercise music, and stopped and watched as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Many people signed the petitions for the Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting organization (DAFOH) and The International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC), to call for an end to the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting which targets Falun Gong practitioners.

To learn more about Falun Gong and learn the exercises, local residents Sully and his wife, Monica, followed the practitioners to do the exercises. They said they wanted to experience for themselves the physical and mental benefits that this practice is known for.

Laurence and his wife, who live in Sao Paulo, were also interested in learning the exercises. They hope to improve their mental and physical health and feel the goodness that practicing Falun Gong brings people as they integrate it into their lives.

Rally Held in Vannes in Western France

Practitioners from western France held a rally in Vannes in Brittany on July 19, 2025, to tell people how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, and call for an end to the persecution.

Practitioners in Vannes held a rally to peacefully protest the persecution.

Practitioners set up an information booth at the Place Gambetta, which is directly opposite the port. They displayed banners, set up information boards, distributed flyers, and collected signatures on a petition to end the persecution.

Practitioners in Vannes clarified the truth about the persecution.

Vannes was very busy, and many residents and tourists visited the city and read the information about Falun Gong and the persecution. They also watched as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Some people asked many questions about Falun Gong and said they were interested in learning the exercise movements.

A young man and his mother came to the booth, and the man said he had seen practitioners in Taiwan. However, when he lived in China from 2015 to 2017, he never saw any practitioners. He asked about the persecution and said he felt a connection with Falun Gong, and wished to learn the exercises.

A middle-aged couple told a practitioner that they wanted to learn more about Falun Gong. After signing the petition, the lady asked where they could learn the exercises.

A young man took a flyer about the G7 countries jointly signing a motion to stop the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, and said, “I know what’s happening in China. I went there to learn acupuncture and I lived there for five years. China is a dangerous country.” He also shared some horrifying details, such as cameras are everywhere, and said that China has around 600 million surveillance cameras.

Valérie is a civil servant at the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, and recently moved to Vannes. When she heard that practitioners have been persecuted for twenty six years, she was alarmed. She immediately signed the petition and said that it was not a coincidence that she passed by the Falun Gong booth that day. She said she feels very comfortable when around the practitioners, and said that Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are consistent with her own beliefs.

She exchanged contact information with a practitioner and said she hoped to join the small Fa study and exercise group to study and learn the exercises. She immediately opened Zhuan Falun and read a page at random. She was surprised and said what she read happened to be the answer to a problem that troubled her for a very long time. She thanked the practitioners for coming to Vannes to clarify the truth to people and told them she hoped that the persecution would end soon, that the whole world would be awakened, and that more people sign the petition. She said that she would tell her friends about the persecution.

After signing the petition, many people wished practitioners good luck.

Event in Marseille

Practitioners held an event in Marseille on July 20, 2025, to tell people about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.

Rally in Bordeaux

Practitioners in Bordeaux set up a booth near the river bank on Sunday, July 20, to tell people how the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa.

Practitioners held an event in Bordeaux.

Practitioners set up a booth on the busiest street in Marseille, Avenue de La Canebière, and distributed flyers to passersby. This was the first time many people heard that the CCP harvests practitioners’ organs while they are still alive.

A gentleman said, “I admire you all for exposing such a powerful force. It really takes courage!” A lady signed the petition and said emotionally, “I really like Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. These three words really touched me. I will definitely read your materials.”
