(Minghui.org) I read an article on Minghui yesterday that discussed some phenomena among Falun Dafa practitioners such as rejoicing in grandiose deeds, avoiding important issues and focusing on the trivial, and retreating when faced with difficulties.
Afterward, I reread “Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference” and I noticed Master’s warning.
Master said:
“If you are just being a good person among ordinary people and do not cultivate, you are still committing an extremely huge crime! That’s because you are not saving the sentient beings that you are supposed to save!! You are not fulfilling the contract you signed in prehistory!! Isn’t it such an issue?! When I taught the Fa in the past, I never used such a tone to talk to you. Master is anxious, as the end is fast approaching. But some people are not worried. What is to be done?!” (“Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XIV)
Some practitioners may think that Master mentioned “there isn’t much time left” or “the end is fast approaching” for years, but Fa-Rectification hasn’t ended yet. We know that Master cherishes us practitioners more than we cherish ourselves. If we think this way, aren’t we making assumptions and being disrespectful?
Years have passed since “Fa Teaching at the 2019 New York Fa Conference” and “2018 NTD and Epoch Times Fa Conference” took place. There have been no major or international experience-sharing Fa conferences since then. I feel that how we handle ourselves and deal with issues could be our final exam.
These are some of my thoughts at my cultivation level. I hope we all pay attention to our behavior. Having practiced for many years, we should not want to hear only positive words.
