Twenty-six years ago on July 20, 1999, the CCP started persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. The CCP has used a variety of methods to coerce practitioners into giving up their faith, including torture, electrocution, and beatings. It also uses practitioners as involuntary organ donors to generate revenue for the government.

As the sun started to set, practitioners held a commemoration for the practitioners who lost their lives due to the persecution in China. They lit candles and held portraits of practitioners who were killed by the CCP during the persecution.
Practitioners talked to passersby about the persecution, and many people signed a petition calling to stop the human rights abuses.
On Monday morning, July 21, practitioners returned to the Chinese Consulate and did the exercises as a group.
