(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held marches in Kobe and Osaka, Japan on September 13 and 14, 2025. They introduced Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) and told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
Their activities were held during the Osaka Expo and coincided with a three-day holiday. Practitioners held a parade in Kobe on September 13, 2025. The banners they carried read: “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good,” “Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong Immediately,” and “Supporting 450 Million People Who Quit the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations.” Many people took photos and videos. Some cheered the practitioners, and others rolled down their car windows and applauded them. Some Chinese withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations during the event.

City Councilor: I Will Always Support You
Asae Kawakami, a member of the Ashiya City Council in Hyogo Prefecture, came to the parade’s starting point, Higashiyuenchi Park in Kobe, and encouraged the practitioners.
Councilor Asae Kawakami expresses his support before the march.
Councilor Kawakami said that Falun Gong practitioners and people around the world are concerned by the current situation in China. He noted the numerous cases of persecution of individuals who had differing ideas or beliefs under the CCP rule. As a former journalist and city council member, he said it was important to safeguard everyone’s freedom of thought, belief, and movement, because these are crucial for the healthy development of society.
Councilor Kawakami said, “Human rights are the only values that can unite all nations.” He also said he hoped practitioners’ activities would spread from Kobe to the world, and encouraged everyone, “Keep going! I will always support you.”
Elected Officials Condemn the CCP’s Forced Organ Harvesting
Hiroshi Yamada, member of the House of Councilors of National Diet, sent a message sternly condemning the CCP’s persecution and forced organ harvesting. He said that these are, “Unprecedented crimes, contrary to civilization, extremely barbaric, and inhumane. As a country that values human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, the Japanese government has a responsibility to strongly protest to the CCP and urge it to immediately cease forced organ harvesting and other crimes against humanity.”
He also said that he would stand with Falun Gong practitioners and resolutely oppose the CCP’s atrocities.
Rintaro Ishibashi, member of the House of Representatives, also sent a message. He recalled that eight years ago, after watching the documentary Unbelievable, which exposed the CCP’s organ harvesting, he and practitioners in Hiroshima held activities to expose the persecution. He noted that global awareness of the CCP’s atrocities has gradually increased, but the CCP continues to ignore the international community’s concerns and persecutes Falun Gong practitioners.
He wrote, “Our struggle is far from over, but we must not be afraid of difficulties and move forward with determination.” He expressed his firm confidence that the march would become “a new starting point for resolving the problem” and called on everyone to work together.
In his letter, Hyogo Prefectural Assembly member Osamu Kurokawa expressed his firm opposition to the CCP’s persecution and the forced organ harvesting. He said it was intolerable and urged that the atrocities end. He hoped the march would raise awareness among more Japanese about the CCP’s human rights violations and called on everyone to voice their demands to the Japanese government to immediately halt these inhumane practices.
Another Hyogo Prefectural Assembly member, Takuji Ooya, noted in his letter that the persecution of Falun Gong has intensified over the past 26 years since July 1999. Practitioners face not only forced labor, torture, and sexual violence, but also forced organ harvesting, which he called a “state crime.” He praised practitioners for their adherence to Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and their tireless and peaceful efforts, particularly the passage of the Falun Gong Protection Act and the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act by the U.S. House of Representatives in May of this year, which contributes to the international community’s concerted condemnation of the CCP. He also criticized Japan’s apparent lag in relevant legislation and action, and hoped the march would draw public attention to this human rights crisis.
Tell People About the CCP’s True Nature
Mr. Inagaki, President of the Falun Dafa Association, spoke at the rally, and said that people from around the world and Japan gathered in Kansai to enjoy the expo.
He also noted that many people still don’t know about the persecution and how the CCP harms the world. One of the CCP’s most egregious crimes is forced organ harvesting, whereby Falun Gong practitioners in China are illegally detained and have their organs removed. “This is an unprecedented atrocity. Harvesting and selling people’s organs is unbelievable, but it’s happening.”
Mr. Inagaki concluded his speech by expressing his hope that the march would offer an opportunity for more people to recognize the evil of the CCP. He encouraged everyone to tell others about the persecution.
Don’t Yield to the CCP
Many visitors expressed strong support after watching the parade. Mr. Fujisawa, whose family participated in the parade, said, “Human beings live together on this earth. Persecution and trampling on each other is absolutely wrong. The persecution of Falun Gong and the forced organ harvesting are absolutely unacceptable.”
Doug from the U.S. praised Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and said, “Regardless of religious beliefs, everyone should uphold these values. This is worthy of sincere admiration.” He also he would ask God to give Falun Hong practitioners strength to continue exposing evil in the world.
Mr. Yamamoto encouraged practitioners and said, “Please do not yield to the CCP.” Mr. Fujiwara said, “The CCP is the enemy of the world. I hope Falun Gong practitioners can help the Chinese people and restore the true China.”
