(Minghui.org) A 46-year-old woman in Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province was arrested ahead of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s military parade on September 3, 2025, for distributing informational materials to raise awareness of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.
The arresting officers from the Nanchang County Domestic Security Office threatened to sentence Ms. Jiang Lianhua to prison and ordered her to admit guilt. She insisted that she did nothing wrong by exercising her constitutional right to freedom of belief.
Ms. Jiang used to suffer from poor health and became even weaker after giving birth to her child. She had no strength to mop the floor, much less do other household chores. After she took up Falun Gong in March 2014, she gradually recovered from her numerous illnesses, including back pain, angina, gynecological diseases, dizziness, and joint pain.
Having benefited from Falun Gong, Ms. Jiang tried her best to inform the public that the practice was nothing like what’s depicted in the CCP propaganda. She was arrested in August 2020 for distributing Falun Gong materials and sentenced to three years and three months. She was forced to do hard labor for long hours while being held at the Jiangxi Province Women’s Prison. She was released on November 21, 2023, only to be arrested again in September 2025.
