(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Harassed
7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yufen Tried
8. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Changshou and His Wife Ms. Ran Guanquan Persecuted
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Song Huichan Arrested
10. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Zhongli Detained
11. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dai Xiuhua’s Son Harassed
12. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xingxiang Arrested
1. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Over 50 Practitioners Arrested
Over 50 practitioners were arrested in Dehui City just before the Chinese Communist Party’s military parade on September 3, 2025.
2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yi Ruilian Arrested
Ms. Yi Ruilian put up Falun Gong posters along the road in early September 2025. The patrolling police identified her after poring over surveillance footage. She was arrested at home on the morning of September 10, 2025, by Qixiazhuangyuan Police Station officers.
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Chunhua Arrested
Ms. Li Chunhua was arrested by officers including Li Hongyu, chief of the Wulong Police Station, on August 23, 2025. She was tortured until she was unable to walk. She was released on September 8.
4. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Chongyang Detained
Mr. Liu Chongyang was reported to the police for distributing Falun Gong pamphlets. He was arrested at home in early January 2025, by Liu Jun, head of the Liaoyang City Domestic Security Division, and three other officers. He was detained for ten days in a lockup.
5. [Beijing] Ms. Li Guanglan Released After Serving Four Years in Prison
Ms. Li Guanglan was released on September 2, 2025, after serving a four-year prison term.
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Harassed
Eight officers from the Laiwu District Police Department, led by a Dacao Village official, harassed a female practitioner in her 80s on August 28, 2025. They ransacked her home and confiscated five video players, eleven audio players, Falun Gong books, and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder.
Ms. Zhang Baoying from Laiwu District was harassed at home by local residential committee staffers and forced to sign an unidentified document.
7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yufen Tried
Ms. Li Yufen was tried by the Baarin Left Banner Court on September 10, 2025. Her lawyer entered a not guilty plea for her. She also demanded her acquittal. The procurator proposed to sentence Ms. Li to six years.
8. [Tianjin] Mr. Wang Changshou and His Wife Ms. Ran Guanquan Persecuted
Mr. Wang Changshou, 79, was harassed at home by Chen Yunliang from the Xiangyang Police Station at 8 p.m. on July 31, 2025. Chen brought two officers went to Mr. Wang’s home again at 8 p.m. on August 2, 2025. Mr. Wang was harassed again at 7:30 p.m. on August 28, 2025, by another officer and a community committee director.
Mr. Wang’s wife, Ms. Ran Guangquan, 76, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Tanggu Court in Binhai New District in 2015. She was again sentenced to two and a half years in prison and fined 8,000 yuan by the Binhai New District Court in 2024.
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Song Huichan Arrested
Ms. Song Huichan, 66, was arrested by three officers from the Xinchun Police Station on April 11, 2025. Her home was ransacked that evening.
10. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Zhongli Detained
Ms. Chen Zhongli was arrested by officers from the Gucheng Police Station and the Datong City Domestic Security Division at 10 p.m. on September 5, 2025. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her cell phone, computer, and paper bills printed with information about Falun Gong. Ms. Chen is currently held in the Datong City First Detention Center.
11. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Dai Xiuhua’s Son Harassed
As Ms. Dai Xiuhua was staying out of town, the police and neighborhood committee staffers in Hedong New District harassed her son on August 23, 2025. They took her daughter-in-law to the neighborhood committee office and threatened Ms. Dai, ordering her to come and sign the statements to renounce Falun Gong.
12. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xingxiang Arrested
Ms. Wang Xingxiang was arrested on August 28, 2025, and released later that day.
