(Minghui.org) I went to a faraway river to wash clothes one day. When I reached the riverside, I found a place with a flat stone, squatted down, and began to wash the clothes. When I turned back, I saw a woman who seemed older than me, and I naturally moved to one side and let her have the good place instead. She took my small act of kindness to heart, nodded, smiled at me, and started chatting with me. She eventually asked me, “How old are you?” I replied, “Why don’t you give it a guess?” She replied, “You’re not 60 yet.” I replied, “I am 71 years old.” She exclaimed, “Wow, how can you look this young?!” I replied, “I practice Falun Dafa.”
She seemed scared and cowered to one side. I said, “I practice Falun Dafa and became a good person who follows Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The practice has miraculous effects on healing illnesses and keeping fit. We are also considerate when we do things. That’s why I look young. Would someone else behave like me today and give up such a good place for you? The propaganda that you’ve heard on the television are all lies to deceive people. Have you read Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials?” She replied that she had read some and had watched DVDs.
I asked, “Have you heard of quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations?” She shook her head, as she did not know how to quit. “Your affinity is here today,” I said. “Quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations from the bottom of your heart today and get rid of the vows that you made to it before. Also, recite the two phrases, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ in your heart, so that you will be able to stay safe during pandemics and disasters.” She happily told me her name and the CCP organizations that she had joined in the past. She said loudly, “Thank you!” I replied, “Thank Master!” She laughed happily.
This encounter demonstrates that the efforts that we continuously put into distributing truth-clarification materials does not go to waste. It makes it very easy for us to persuade people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations after they have read truth-clarification materials. This example also encourages Dafa practitioners to persist in distributing truth-clarification materials and doing the three things well.
Once, as I was riding my bicycle, I saw a woman carrying a suitcase. She was walking with much difficulty, so I stopped and greeted her, “We are going the same way. Why don’t you place your suitcase on my bicycle and let me give you a ride?” She looked at me suspiciously, so I said, “You can be at ease because I practice Falun Dafa.”
She smiled and said, “I have relatives who practice Falun Dafa. They are very nice people. The couple are both teachers but have lost their jobs.” I asked, “Have you quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations?” She replied, “I have heard them mention it, but I’ve not quit yet.”
I then explained, “We have all been maligned and persecuted just because we cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and try to be good people. Don’t listen to those lies on the television, as they are harmful to people. Dafa practitioners clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations because we want to save people. We hope that people can avoid pandemics and disasters and save their lives! Our meeting today is predestined. Why don’t you quit the CCP and any affiliated organizations that you have joined?” Hearing that, she happily quit the CCP organizations with her real name. We then reached her doorstep.
I once went to a supermarket and was waiting for my turn to check out when the customer in front of me told the cashier that she had no change. I voluntarily went forward and handed her some change and she thanked me. I said, “Please don’t go. I have something to tell you.” After making my payment, I walked over to her and talked about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. After listening to my explanation, she quickly agreed to quit the CCP organizations.
For a long time, my husband (a non-practitioner) had been busy making arrangements to go to his rural hometown to visit his sick older brother. I told him that I could go with him but I had to clarify the truth. I told him that if he would try to stop me, I would not go. He did not answer.
We then brought presents to visit his older brother. His older brother and wife were quite happy to see us (his wife was also not in good health). After exchanging a few pleasantries, I started to clarify the truth and persuade them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I had clarified the truth to them before, and they had also heard others mention it to them, but they just would not quit.
They had thought that I had suffered such great losses because I practice Falun Dafa, losing my job and pension, so they thought I was a really silly person for persisting. I replied, “I am not silly. It is not wrong for me to follow Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and be a good person. Cultivation cured me of all my illnesses, such that my body feels so relaxed now. How many people in modern society do not need to take medication or visit hospitals?
“Master has saved my life and Dafa is so good. I cannot betray Dafa and Master. It is all the evil CCP’s fault for persecuting innocent, good people, and the heavens are now disintegrating it. If you do not quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, you will be part of the evil Party. Although I have lost a lot, I have no regrets.
“We clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the CCP for the good of people like you, and we are not trying to make you become one of us. You will not lose anything. As long as you recite the two phrases silently in your mind, and quit the CCP, you will be able to maintain your peace and safety.” They were moved by my words and readily agreed to quit the CCP.
This time, my truth-clarification deeply touched my husband. I saw that his attitude toward me had changed. This was also the only time he had heard the most complete version of my truth clarification. I had been displaced for eight years and wrongly sentenced for three years. He had waited a total of 11 years for me, but he had found it very hard to understand my persistence. Thank you, Master, for having all sorts of ways to save people! Thank you, Master, for your benevolent salvation. At this moment, I am writing this experience sharing article with tears in my eyes.
Throughout these years, there have been many more stories from when I have clarified the truth and persuaded people to quit the CCP, but I will not list all of them here. What I have done is a far cry from what other practitioners have done. No matter where Dafa practitioners go, we have good opportunities for clarifying the truth and persuading people to quit the CCP. I do not dare claim credit for such great achievements. Everything is done by Master. It is Master who leads people with predestined relationships to me, and it is the Fa that is saving sentient beings. Dafa practitioners can only try to save more people, so we should just listen to Master, study the Fa more, and cultivate ourselves well so that we can do the three things steadily, cultivate our compassion and benevolence, and thus save more people.
In the limited remaining time, let us be diligent in our cultivation and follow Master home!
