(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Chonghua Detained
2. [Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hou Yongduo and Ms. Song Yanju Detained
3. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Qi Cai Arrested, Mr. Xia Wenjie Harassed
4. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Xuelian Detained

1. [Bayan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhu Chonghua Detained

Ms. Zhu Chonghua was arrested on July 8, 2025, by Bayan County Domestic Security Division officers. Her home was ransacked. She has been held in the Yaziquan Women’s Detention Center in Harbin City since. Her case was returned twice by the prosecutor due to insufficient evidence. In order to frame her, the police interrogated her multiple times and threatened to implicate her children if she did not write statements to renounce Falun Gong.

2. [Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Hou Yongduo and Ms. Song Yanju Detained

Mr. Hou Yongduo and Ms. Song Yanju are retired teachers in Qingliangshan Town. They were arrested at their respective homes on November 7, 2025, by officers from the county domestic security division and the local police station. The officers confiscated their computers, Falun Gong books, and other items. Ms. Song was held at Anshan City Detention Center for 15 days and released on November 22. Mr. Hou is still being held in Xiuyan County Detention Center.

3. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Qi Cai Arrested, Mr. Xia Wenjie Harassed

Qi Cai, gender unknown, was arrested at home on December 1, 2025, by over 20 officers from the Pingshan County Police Department and the Pingshan Town Police Station. They ransacked the place and took Qi to the police department. Qi was bailed out that night by his or her son-in-law.

Mr. Xia Wenjie received many harassing calls from the Pingshan Town Police Station in mid-December 2025. Two officers searched his home and took pictures against his will during one harassment episode.

4. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Xuelian Detained

Ms. Xu Xuelian was arrested at home on the evening of December 2, 2025, by the Guta Resident Community director and local police. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and other items. She was held at the Shili Lockup for 15 days and released on December 18.
