(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in July 1998. Although my journey in cultivation has been challenging, Master has been the guiding force, allowing me to reach the stage of cultivation I am at today. Although I have not been diligent, I have placed great importance on sending forth righteous thoughts. I would like to share a few stories related to sending righteous thoughts in order to validate the power of Dafa.
After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, I was frequently summoned by town government officials because I was a volunteer instructor in our village. Each day under their scrutiny felt like an eternity, and I would be overwhelmed with relief when it was finally over. Every evening, I felt relieved that another difficult day had finally passed.
Once, two fellow practitioners from my village and I were summoned to the town government office. They placed us on the second floor and called us down one by one, asking if we still practiced.
While waiting on the second floor, I silently sent forth righteous thoughts. Then I visualized the character “elimination” enveloping the entire second floor, while clearing my mind of all thoughts.
One practitioner asked for help from Master, who then manifested an illusion of illness for her—she coughed and vomited violently. The town government officials hurriedly sent her home. When it was my turn, they didn’t ask a single question. They simply said, “Go home and live your life peacefully.” I was quite puzzled at the time, but I went home.
Another time, a neighbor told me the town government officials were coming for me, so I sat at home sending forth righteous thoughts for half a day. That night, I had a dream: the town government officials arrived, and they appeared as demons. I flew above them and sent righteous thoughts, and they vanished instantly. After that, the matter just fizzled out.
When I was held in a labor camp, one day, while eating in the dining hall, I saw an extremely weak woman who was being supported by two others as she entered. I knew she was a fellow practitioner. After finishing my meal, I began sending righteous thoughts, visualizing her appearance as different, and sending righteous energy to support her, clearing away the interference and persecution targeting her. The next day, I saw her walking into the dining hall on her own, looking energetic and alert.
In the labor camp, practitioners sent righteous thoughts towards the blood-red flag, and eventually the flag broke off at its base. Once, I spent a long time sending righteous thoughts to dismantle the labor camp’s stronghold, completely eliminating all the evil in its other dimension.
That night, I dreamed that a large hole appeared in the ground of the labor camp, and black water gushed out. Then a nine-tailed snake crawled out of the hole, its tails slithering on the ground while its body stood upright. It looked around at the people nearby and then slid away.
My family moved to an apartment in town. Our building is very close to the police station, and from upstairs I can see what the officers are doing inside. I held this conviction: This is my personal space, and no one is permitted to persecute Dafa disciples here.
When sending forth righteous thoughts, I would sometimes visualize myself inside the police station, sending out powerful energy to dispel the evil. As a result, incidents of persecution in my area have been extremely rare. This is also due to the strong collective practice of fellow practitioners in my area.
Master told us:
“Right now, there are only a small number of evil, rotten demons, and they are being concentrated by the old forces in labor camps, jails, and other dark dens that are taking part in persecuting Dafa disciples. This has caused the evil’s persecution to remain severe in certain, limited areas. In order to completely eliminate the persecution of Dafa disciples by the dark minions, rotten demons, and old forces, all Dafa disciples around the world—particularly the Dafa disciples in each region of mainland China—are to concertedly send righteous thoughts toward those evil places, thoroughly dissolving all evil beings and elements that persecute Dafa disciples, clearing away the evil circumstances under which Dafa disciples are persecuted in mainland China, and saving the world’s people, [thereby] fulfilling the duties of a Dafa disciple and advancing toward godhood.” (“Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
I have a wish: that each province could establish a support group for practitioners near the prisons. If our fellow practitioners across the province could come together as one body, those closest to a prison would actively coordinate to send righteous thoughts there. We could do this every night around 9 pm for half an hour or an hour, keeping up the effort long-term. Where would the evil then dare to detain our fellow practitioners?
