(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 10 provinces, where at least 56 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

13. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Update to the Mass Arrest in November 2025
1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Hao Sanbao Arrested
Mr. Hao Sanbao, 76 and wheelchair-bound, was arrested at home on December 23, 2025, by over 20 officers.
2. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Xie Jian Sentenced
Ms. Xie Jian was arrested in mid-March 2025 by Xigong District Police Department officers, after someone reported her talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison by the Xigong District Court. She is incarcerated in the Xinxiang City Women’s Prison.
3. [Fenxi County, Shanxi Province] Six Practitioners Harassed
Yang Liang’e, Li Jianying, Zhang Lihua, Li Suihua, Yang Yuai, and Guo Huanglian were harassed on December 3, 2025. Qingxiang Town Police Station officers went to their homes and took pictures of them against their will.
4. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Jia Zhanmin Detained
Mr. Jia Zhanmin gave out Falun Gong flyers in Daluzhuang Township Open Market on December 18, 2025. He was reported and arrested by Daluzhuang Township Police Station officers. He is being held in the Dingzhou City Lockup.
5. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Jiaqin Sentenced
Ms. Wang Jiaqin, 79, was arrested during the first half of 2025 for using paper currency with Falun Gong messages printed on them. She was sentenced to 16 months in prison in November 2025 by the Nanming District Court. She was allowed to serve time at home after she was forced to sign statements to renounce and denounce Falun Gong.
Police recently went to her home and ordered her to attend a brainwashing session. When she said no, they said, “Either go to a ‘study’ session or prison.”
6. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Xiong Xianyin Arrested
Ms. Xiong Xianyin, around 80, was tracked, monitored, and arrested in early September 2025, for distributing Falun Gong flyers. Her home was ransacked. She was given seven days of detention. But it wasn’t enforced after she was hospitalized due to dangerously high blood pressure.
7. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Yao Jinxia Detained
Ms. Yao Jinxia was arrested on November 20, 2025, by the Changchenglu Police Station officers. They ransacked her place, seized her cell phone, Falun Gong books, and other items. She was detained for 15 days and released on December 5.
8. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fan Yanqi Missing
Mr. Fan Yanqi, around 50, was arrested in August 2023. His whereabouts have been unknown since then. He previously served two forced labor camp terms and a10-year prison term.
9. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shiying Harassed
Ms. Li Shiying, 84, talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Nanhaizi Park on September 25, 2025. Someone reported her. Six officers from the Daxing Police Department ransacked her home the next day, and seized two pictures and a desk calendar with Falun Gong messages. They ordered her to take a physical exam. She refused.
On December 22, three officers sent her son away. They threatened to send her case to the procuratorate if she did not plead guilty or renounce Falun Gong.
10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Xiaowu Arrested
Xiaowu, nickname, was arrested on December 15, 2025.
11. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Mr. Hu Zihua Released
Mr. Hu Zihua has been released after completing a two-year prison term.
12. [Beian City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jiao Xichen and Ms. Wang Mengxin Sentenced
Ms. Jiao Xichen and Ms. Wang Mengxin were sentenced to eight and five years, respectively, by the Heihe City Court, a few days after their hearing on November 13, 2025. Ms. Jiao’s sentencing dealt her husband and her mother, in her 90s, a hard blow.
13. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Update to the Mass Arrest in November 2025
It was previously reported that 31 practitioners were arrested on November 2 and 3, 2025. Now the arrests of 3 more practitioners have been confirmed. They are Li Tianyuan, Li Mengying, and Li Shuxia from Xingqing District.
Twelve were released within 24 hours of their arrests. They were Zhao Hengde, Si Yurong, San Jining, Wang Xiangchen, Wang Yuxiang, Yan Yinlu, Chen Baozhong, Li Lanfeng, Wang Yuzhou, Jiang Tao, Zhu Haiyan, and Li Shuxia.
Eleven were released after a brief detention. Song Jing was released after 13 days of detention; Sun Yajuan, Li Yiping, and Chen Yulan were released after 10 days of detention; Zhang Xiaoping, Hu Jiancai, and Cai Guojun were released after 8 days of detention; Liu Haixun, Yang Xuehong, Wu Jinfang, and Zhang Jianping were released after 7 days of detention.
Eleven practitioners are still being held in Yinchuan Detention Center. They are Xie Yiqiang, Li Shilin, Zhao Lin, Mao Minwu, Ding Qian, Li Jinhua, Shen Dongmei, Zhu Lin, Liang Yuhua, Li Mengying, and Li Tianyuan.
