(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Yuxiang Detained
2. [Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province] Ms. Shang Qin and Ms. Dai Jinlan Arrested
3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Yuxiang Arrested
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Feng Zhimian Detained
5. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fangshu Arrested
6. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Huo Cuihong and Ms. Li Xiaohong Arrested
7. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Xiaoguang Released from Prison
8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiangrong Arrested
9. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tu Ailian to Be Released from Prison
10. [Jiahe County, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Jianfu Arrested

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Yuxiang Detained

Ms. Gao Yuxiang, around 70, was arrested by Guilin Road Police Station officers on September 8, 2026, and has been detained in the Changchun City Detention Center. Her case was recently submitted to the Chaoyang District Procuratorate.

2. [Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province] Ms. Shang Qin and Ms. Dai Jinlan Arrested

Ms. Shang Qin and Ms. Dai Jinlan were arrested on May 12, 2026. Their case has recently been transferred from the Kaiyuan City Procuratorate to the Jianshui County Procuratorate.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Yuxiang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yuxiang was arrested at home on the evening of September 21, 2026.

4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Feng Zhimian Detained

Ms. Feng Zhimian was arrested by Xinshi Police Station officers on September 20, 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, the photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and informational materials about Falun Gong. She has been taken to the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center.

5. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fangshu Arrested

Ms. Zhang Fangshu was arrested at home on September 8, 2026, by Su Weichuang, chief of the Beizhan Police Station, and another officer. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder. She was taken to the police station for interrogation and released after paying a 10,000 yuan bail bond. The police installed location-tracking software on her cell phone.

6. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Huo Cuihong and Ms. Li Xiaohong Arrested

Ms. Huo Cuihong and Ms. Li Xiaohong were arrested on September 19, 2026, after being reported for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Qinglong County Police Department for interrogation and admitted to the Qinglong County Lockup next day. Ms. Li was released soon after due to a health problem. Ms. Huo remains detained.

7. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Xiaoguang Released from Prison

Mr. Yang Xiaoguang was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan in June 2023. He suffered a cerebral thrombosis due to torture in prison, and now walks with a slight limp. He was released on September 3, 2026.

8. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiangrong Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiangrong was helping Ms. Xing Fengxian clean her home on September 21, 2026, when a group of officers broke in. They arrested Ms. Zhang and confiscated Ms. Xing’s Falun Gong books, printer, and other informational materials. The police didn’t arrest Ms. Xing because she was unconscious at the time.

9. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tu Ailian to Be Released from Prison

Ms. Tu Ailian was scheduled to be released from prison on September 26, 2026, after serving a seven-year term.

10. [Jiahe County, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Jianfu Arrested

Mr. Li Jianfu was arrested around mid-September 2026 at his rental place by plainclothes officers.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gu Xiqin Arrested

Ms. Gu Xiqin was arrested by Cheng’en Police Station officers on September 22, 2026. Her home was ransacked.

12. [Jiayin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Junyue and Ms. Gao Ailing Released from Prison

Ms. Wang Junyue and Ms. Gao Ailing were released from prison on September 9 and 11, 2026, respectively.
