(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Trial of Six Practitioners Scheduled
Mr. Liao Yuanhua, Ms. Zhang Baozhen, Ms. Lyu Xiaoping, Chen Guangyu (gender unknown), Ms. Gao Yan, and Chen Hua (gender unknown) were scheduled to appear in the Wuxue City Court on October 14, 2026.
2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Ying Faces Indictment
Ms. Liu Ying was arrested at home on September 10, 2026, by Xinhua Street Police Station officers. They ransacked her place and seized her printers and Falun Gong-related items. She has been held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center since. The Qiaoxi District Police Department put Ms. Liu under criminal detention on September 11. Her case was submitted to the Qiaoxi District Procuratorate on October 8.
3. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Cheng Lei Sentenced
Mr. Cheng Lei was arrested on October 29, 2025, while working in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. He was sentenced in September 2026 by the Liwan District Court. He has appealed with the Guangzhou City Intermediate Court.
Mr. Cheng developed a severe heart condition in detention. He has received a stent placement procedure.
4. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Ying Detained
Ms. Wang Ying, 61, was arrested on September 3, 2026, by officers from the Dongli Police Department and the Xinlicun Police Station. Her personal items were confiscated. She was interrogated at the police station. The police also searched Ms. Wang and forced her to undergo a medical exam. She was held in a metal cage before being released at midnight.
Three police officers arrested Ms. Wang at home again on September 17. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and other items, and took her to the police department. She was again searched, interrogated, forced to undergo a medical examination, and held in a metal cage. She was then transferred to a lockup for two days.
5. [Cifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zheng Yufang Sentenced
Ms. Zheng Yufang was recently sentenced to 22 months in prison and fined 5,000 yuan by the Songshan District Court.
6. [Fangzheng County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wu Xi Sentenced
Ms. Wu Xi was arrested on December 4, 2025, by Gaoleng Police Department officers. She was first held in Harbin City, then in Boli County. She was recently sentenced to two years in prison by the Boli County Court and has been admitted to the Songbin Prison in Harbin.
7. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Jianying Faces Indictment
Ms. Chen Jianying was formally arrested on September 29, 2026, by the Guangyang District Procuratorate.
8. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Huirong Arrested
Ms. Yang Huirong was arrested on September 16, 2026, by Donghuan Police Station officers, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on a bus. Her home was ransacked.
9. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Suyuan Detained
Ms. Ma Suyuan was arrested on October 9, 2026, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained for 15 days.
10. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xia Detained
Ms. Gao Xia, 66, was arrested at home on June 11, 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books and printouts. She was issued a formal arrest warrant on July 17. Ms. Gao is being held at the Yantai City Detention Center.
11. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Baolan Arrested
Ms. Li Baolan was arrested at home on September 14, 2026, after she was recorded by surveillance camera distributing Falun Gong flyers. Officers from the Beimenwai Police Station confiscated her Falun Gong printouts and took her to the police station. She was released in the afternoon.
12. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Du Guangqin Detained
Ms. Du Guangqin was arrested on October 7, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for 15 days.
13. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Qimin Harassed
Ms. Xie Qimin was arrested on her way home on September 15, 2026, by four officers from the Yangshuiwu Police Station. They took her to the hospital for a physical exam and then to a local lockup. The guards refused to admit Ms. Xie due to her poor health. She was released at night. The police confiscated several Falun Gong-related items from her.
