(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Enping City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Guan Yueai Faces Trial
2. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Peng Xia Arrested
3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lu Yuxiu and Ms. Huang Haiying Arrested
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang and Ms. Liu Harassed
5. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Qin Bifeng Arrested
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Lianfeng and Mr. Sun Jianzhong Arrested
7. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qiu Ying and Ms. Li Rongju Arrested
8. [Huai’an County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Shufang Harassed
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoxia and Her Son, Mr. Sun Yu, Arrested
1. [Enping City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Guan Yueai Faces Trial
Ms. Guan Yueai was indicted by the Pengjiang District Procuratorate. She was scheduled to appear in the Pengjiang District Court on September 22, 2026.
2. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Peng Xia Arrested
Ms. Peng Xia was arrested and detained in early September 2026 by officers from the Shachengnan Police Station.
3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lu Yuxiu and Ms. Huang Haiying Arrested
Ms. Lu Yuxiu was arrested around September 9, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for 15 days.
Ms. Huang Haiying was arrested on September 8, 2026. The authorities refused to tell her family where she was detained.
4. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang and Ms. Liu Harassed
Ms. Wang, in her 80s, was harassed by officers from the Yuandong Police Station on August 31, 2026. They took pictures of her against her will.
Ms. Liu was harassed on September 1, 2026, by a group of officers led by Zhou Yuegang of the Hongqi Police Station. They also took photos of her without her consent.
5. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Qin Bifeng Arrested
Ms. Qin Bifeng was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by Luocheng Town Police Station officers on September 10, 2026, and released later that evening. The police harassed her again the following day.
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Lianfeng and Mr. Sun Jianzhong Arrested
Ms. Lu Lianfeng was arrested at Yinchengpu Town Farmers’ Market on September 10, 2026, by plainclothes officers. She was taken to the Yinchengpu Town Police Station and transferred to the Fengrun District Case Handling Center in the afternoon. She was released at 5 p.m.
Mr. Sun Jianzhong was arrested at Yankou Farmers’ Market on September 12, 2026, by seven plainclothes officers.
7. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qiu Ying and Ms. Li Rongju Arrested
Ms. Qiu Ying was arrested on September 4, 2026, after seven officers from the Zaoqiang County Police Department broke into her home. They ransacked the place and confiscated Falun Gong books and a music player used for Falun Gong exercises. At the police department, they forced her to sign seven sheets of paper. She was released that afternoon.
Ms. Li Rongju was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on September 9, 2026. She was arrested by Hezhuang Police Station officers and placed under detention.
8. [Huai’an County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Shufang Harassed
Ms. Zhang Shufang was harassed over the phone by a staff member from the Chaigoubu Town Police Station on September 12, 2026. They demanded that she meet with them to have her picture taken. She refused.
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoxia and Her Son, Mr. Sun Yu, Arrested
Ms. Liu Xiaoxia was arrested by officers from the Shahekou District Domestic Security Division on June 10, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was issued a formal arrest warrant by the Shahekou District Procuratorate.
Ms. Liu’s son, Mr. Sun Yu, wrote a letter to the director of the Domestic Security Division, urging him to release his mother. The police summoned Mr. Sun to the Lijia Street Police Station on the evening of August 13. He was arrested upon arrival and detained for 10 days.
