1. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhou Liangrong Facing Trial

Ms. Zhou Liangrong, 82, was scheduled to stand trial in the Jiulongpo District Court on September 21, 2026.

2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Facing Indictment

The cases against Mr. Ma Yingjie, Ms. Wang Shouhua, and Ms. Geng Caixia, were submitted to the Guye District Procuratorate on September 17, 2026.

3. [Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Lin Jinli Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison

Ms. Lin Jinli from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, was arrested in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, on August 10, 2025, when she was visiting there. She was sentenced to 3.5 years with a 10,000-yuan fine by the Guangling District Court on June 24, 2026. Her appeal with the Yangzhou City Intermediate Court was denied. She would be transferred from the Yangzhou City Detention Center to a prison in early October 2026.

4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Six practitioners were arrested in August and September 2026. Among them, Mr. Yu Zhengang is still detained at the Laishui County Lockup, Mr. Zhang Dongsheng was released due to his health condition, Ms. Liu Jinying and three other female practitioners were detained in a facility in Baoding City.

5. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Dai Dongben Detained

Dai Dongben, 78, was arrested by Zuojiatang Police Station officers in early September 2026, after being reported for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Dai has been detained since.

6. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cao Haitao Arrested

Mr. Cao Haitao was arrested on September 16, 2026, by officers from the Zhucheng City 610 Office.

7. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Yang Meifang was harassed at home by over ten officers from the Xisu Police Station around September 3, 2026. The police confiscated Falun Gong related materials and the photo of Falun Gong’s founder. The same officers also harassed 65-year-old Ms. Yan Shuying and confiscated her Falun Gong books and informational materials.

Ms. Zhang Feng’e was harassed at home by Linmingguan Police Station officers on September 9, 2026. They confiscated the photo of Falun Gong’s founder and a Falun Gong book.

8. [Linzhang County, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Song Zhenhai, his wife, Ms. Wang Qiufen, Ruiqin (last name unknown), Ms. Duan (first name unknown), Ms. Liu Meihua, Ms. Ren Junxia, Ms. Liu Xingzhi, and Ms. Wang Junxiang were arrested on the evening of September 12, 2026, while studying Falun Gong teachings together at Mr. Song’s seed store.

The police confiscated the practitioners’ Falun Gong books, and Mr. Song’s computer, printer, informational materials, and a large sum of cash.

9. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yingxiu Harassed

Ms. Wang Yingxiu, 80, was harassed at home by Yangcun Town Police Station officers and local town officials on August 26, 2026. They took photos of Ms. Wang and recorded a video of her.

10. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] 18 Practitioners Arrested

Eighteen practitioners were arrested at Ms. Yu Xiulan’s home on the afternoon of September 15, 2026.

11. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Su Hongxin Harassed

Mr. Su Hongxin’s shop and home were ransacked by five officers from Xiaozhaozhuang Township Police Station on September 9, 2026.

12. [Dingzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Jia Zhanmin Detained

Mr. Jia Zhanmin was arrested at home by officers from the Yangjiazhuang Police Station on September 16, 2026. He was taken to the Beicheng District Detention Center.

Mr. Jia’s son was also arrested for attempting to stop the police from taking his father away. He was later bailed out.

13. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Jin Min Released from Prison

Ms. Jin Min was released on September 12, 2026, after serving a six-year term.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wu Ning Arrested

Mr. Wu Ning was arrested on September 16, 2026, while distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. His home was ransacked.

15. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five elderly practitioners were arrested on September 15, 2026, and taken to the Nanmeng Town Police Station. Three of them were released in the evening. Ms. Wu was released next day. Ms. Feng Yanyun is still held at a local lockup.

16. [Guangping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Feng Detained

Ms. Lu Feng was arrested in early September 2026 and detained for five days.

17. [Renqiu City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ji Lanxiang and Ms. Li Xiangming Arrested

Ms. Ji Lanxiang, Ms. Li Xiangming, and her husband, Mr. Jiang Shan, who doesn’t practice Falun Gong, were arrested on September 17, 2026, by officers from the Xihuan Road Police Station and Renqiu City Police Department. Their homes were ransacked and a large number of personal belongings were confiscated.

18. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Guohong Arrested

Ms. Yang Guohong was arrested on August 18, 2026. She was handcuffed and taken to the Zhuolu County Police Department for interrogation. She refused to answer any questions and was released in the afternoon. Her non-practitioner husband was also harassed by the police.

19. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Wei Xinzhi Harassed

Wei Xinzhi, gender unknown, was harassed at home by Dengzhuang Police Station officers on September 8, 2026. The police confiscated Wei’s Falun Gong books and informational materials about Falun Gong. They took photos of Wei and collected Wei’s blood sample.

20. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Six Practitioners Harassed or Arrested

Five practitioners were reading Falun Gong books together on September 16, 2026, when over ten officers from the Gaowan Police Station and the Shenfu New District Police Department broke in.

Ms. Wang Jiemei, 64, Ms. Wang Xiaoyan, in her 70s, Mr. Wang, in his 70s, and Mr. Dai, in his 70s, were taken to the police department for interrogation. They were all released in the evening. Ms. Zeng was not arrested due to her health condition. All five practitioners’ homes were ransacked.

Ms. Zhao Lihui, in her 70s, was harassed at home by officers from the Gaowan Police Station on September 16, 2026. They didn’t arrest her due to her poor health.
