(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Dingxing Country, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Faces Trial
3. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
4. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Peng Xiuqiong’s Home Ransacked
5. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Chunmei Detained
6. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Huarong’s Home Ransacked
7. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Xingzhai and Wang Mipeng Arrested
8. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Zenggang Harassed

1. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Chen Shulan Arrested

Ms. Chen Shulan was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on October 4, 2026. She was arrested at home on October 8 by Lunan Police Station officers. Her home was ransacked and she was taken to Jiujiang City Lockup for five days. She was released on October 13.

2. [Dingxing Country, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Faces Trial

Ms. Wang Hongying was arrested on April 15, 2026. She has been held at the Baoding City Detention Center since. She was scheduled to stand trial on October 22.

3. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Chen Manzhen was harassed at home by agents of the Chicheng County Political and Legal Affairs Committee in early September 2026. They questioned her whether she was still practicing Falun Gong.

Also in September 2026, Ms. Wu Guifang, Ms. Qiao Lianying, and Ms. Zhang Shumei were harassed by officers from Dongmao Police Station and a Party secretary in the Sandaoying area. They forcibly took pictures of the practitioners without their consent.

4. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Peng Xiuqiong’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Peng Xiuqiong’s rental property was broken into by agents of the Jianyang City Political and Legal Affairs Committee and Domestic Security Division on the morning of October 12, 2026. They confiscated all her Falun Gong materials, desk calendars, and other items. Four other practitioners who were there helping make informational materials about Falun Gong were also arrested.

5. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Chunmei Detained

Ms. Wang Chunmei was arrested at home by Chicheng County Domestic Security Division on October 16, 2026. She was taken to Zhangjiakou City Lockup for 10 days.

6. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Huarong’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Zhao Huarong’s home was broken into by officers from Fushan Police Station, and officials from Beigejie Village in Dongfushan Township on October 11, 2026. They confiscated more than 30 Falun Gong books, Falun Gong-themed paintings, couplets, and ornaments.

7. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Xingzhai and Wang Mipeng Arrested

Ms. Xie Xingzhai was arrested by Yanli Police Station officers in July 2026. Wang Mipeng, gender unknown, was arrested by Heguo Police Station officers in August.

8. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Zenggang Harassed

Mr. Yu Zenggang was harassed at his street stand in a market by three officers from Linjiacun Town Police Station on October 16, 2026. They took photos of him without his consent.
