(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Linqing City, Shangdong Province] Ms. Cui Yuling Second Hearing Scheduled
2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Fengzhi Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
3. [Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Zheng Jiang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Dai Xuanhua Arrested
5. [Luan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yunxia Detained
6. [Dangshan County, Anhui Province] Two Practitioners Held in Brainwashing Center
7. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yanfen Detained
8. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Detained, Arrested, and Harassed
9. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Jia Cuiping Harassed
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Xianli’s Trial Scheduled
11. [Wuan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dai Huanru Arrested
1. [Linqing City, Shangdong Province] Ms. Cui Yuling Second Hearing Scheduled
Ms. Cui Yuling’s second hearing was scheduled for October 27, 2026, by the Linqing City Court.
2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Fengzhi Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Mr. Li Fengzhi was arrested in Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia, around July 2024, while visiting a relative there. He was sentenced to five years in prison for sending videos containing Falun Gong messages from his cell phone. He is now serving time at the Hohhot City Second Prison.
3. [Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Zheng Jiang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Mr. Zheng Jiang was arrested in late July 2024 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was sentenced to three years in prison, and is being incarcerated in the Hohhot City Second Prison.
4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Dai Xuanhua Arrested
Mr. Dai Xuanhua, 70, was arrested on the morning of October 14, 2026. The police broke into his home and ransacked the place in the evening.
5. [Luan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yunxia Detained
Ms. Liu Yunxia was arrested and is being held at the Tangshan City First Detention Center.
6. [Dangshan County, Anhui Province] Two Practitioners Held in Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhang Shuhua and Ms. Yan Hui were arrested and taken to the Dangshan County Brainwashing Center on October 15, 2026.
7. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yanfen Detained
Ms. Zhao Yanfen was arrested on October 13, 2026, by officers from the Taiyangsheng Police Station, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in a street market. She was taken to the police Station, and was forced to take a pill. She was admitted to the Yingkou City Detention Center that night.
8. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Detained, Arrested, and Harassed
Eight practitioners were targeted between August and September 2026.
Mr. Zhang Qingshu was forced to live away from home between June and August 2026, to avoid police harassment. He was arrested on August 31 when he returned home for autumn harvest. He was detained for 15 days.
Ms. Cui Fengying was arrested on August 6, 2026, and detained for 15 days.
Ms. Duan Wenying’s home was ransacked on August 6, 2026. She was arrested on August 28 and detained for 15 days.
Ms. Feng Yuexian and Mr. Chen Limin were harassed on August 28, 2026.
Mr. Duan Wenhai had his photos taken against his will by Sizipingzi Village official Wang Tiafeng in September 2026.
Ms. Liu Cuiying was harassed and had her photos taken in September 2026 by Xiaodazhangxi Village officials Chen Zhongqiao and Wang Xiaojun.
Ms. Chen, first name unknown, was also harassed at home in September 2026.
9. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Jia Cuiping Harassed
Ms. Jia Cuiping, 78, was summoned to the Gucheng Police Station in April 2026. The police accused her of distributing Falun Gong flyers and put her under residential surveillance. She was harassed at home two more times in September 2026. The police attempted, unsuccessfully, to carry her away using a wheelchair.
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Xianli’s Trial Scheduled
Ms. Wu Xianli was arrested at home on April 9, 2026, by officers from the Guandong police Station. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, computers, and other items, and took her to the police station for interrogation. She was taken to the Tuoluokou Market Detention Center for 15 days, but she was not released when the time was up. Instead, the police transferred her to the Dongxihu First Detention Center under the pretext of an “extended investigation.” She was later indicted by the Hongshan District Procuratorate and was scheduled to appear in the Hongshan District Court on October 20.
11. [Wuan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dai Huanru Arrested
Ms. Dai Huanru, 67, was arrested at home on October 13, 2026, by officers from the Wuan City Domestic Security Division and Tushanxiang Police Station. She was interrogated at the Wuan City Police Department and released that evening.
