(Minghui.org) A husband and wife practice Falun Dafa, and the husband had been detained for distributing materials about Falun Dafa. Their son had really wanted a stable job, so he had taken exams for civil service positions. A few years ago, he passed both the written exams and interviews, and his last step before being hired was to go through a political review. He and his parents were required to obtain certificates that said that they had no criminal records from the police station, and they needed to get the documents stamped by various government departments.
The son and his parents went to the police station to get the certificates. An officer printed out records from the computer showing that the father had been detained for distributing materials. They took the record to another police officer for official stamps. The officer on duty said, “This won’t do, absolutely not. I cannot stamp it.” They couldn’t get the certificates, and the son failed to get the job. That was a blow to the son, and he became very upset and depressed for a long time, and also developed negative thoughts about Dafa. His parents were saddened seeing their son like this.
But the son kept thinking about applying for government jobs, so he continued to apply and take exams for civil service positions. After failing a few times, he passed the written exams and interviews again. Once again, the political review was the last step. The hiring unit mailed him the necessary documents for employment, one of which still required certificates from the local police station proving that neither he nor his parents had any criminal records, followed by stamps from other government departments.
After reading the required information, the son became very upset and almost cried. He said, “Mom, we’re stuck here again. I think I won’t be hired again!” His mom also felt bad. They needed to get the certificates the next day to avoid missing the deadline.
The mother came to me and told me about it. I thought about it for a while, then talked to her, saying, “Dafa practitioners assisting Master in saving people is the most sacred thing in the universe! Dafa practitioners are not guilty and should not have criminal records. The pages of a practitioner’s record should be shining brightly! Let’s negate the so-called criminal record and not acknowledge it! Let’s ask Master to help erase all the records on that page of the police station’s file. When you go to the police station to get the certificates tomorrow, you must have a kind heart and not let those police officers be manipulated by the evil to participate in the persecution of practitioners. Tell them to remember the two phrases,‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ You must sincerely do what is best for them!” She said, “Okay.” Through the conversation, the mother developed righteous thoughts and strengthened her faith in Master and the Fa.
The next day I told another practitioner to send forth righteous thoughts for them from home. From the bottom of my heart, I sent forth a firm thought, “All the police officers at the police station, you must all remember ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ and you must do your best to help practitioners so you can atone for your sins through doing good deeds for a bright future.”
The son and his mother went to the police station early the next morning. Once there, she kept her eyes on the police officers and maintained righteous thoughts, silently reciting the two phrases toward them. She then silently in her mind asked the officer who was preparing the certificates to avoid wrongdoing against practitioners and treat them kindly for a bright future. The officer then printed out certificates from the computer for the three of them and went upstairs to the second floor to get the certificates stamped in other offices. Seeing the officer going upstairs, the practitioner said she felt a fluctuation in her heart, but she quickly adjusted her mindset and asked Master for help.
The officer returned after a while with all the stamps and handed the certificates to them. After receiving the certificates, the mother went outside to the police station courtyard and took out her husband’s certificate to examine it. Her husband’s certificate showed no criminal record from his birth to that time. Master really had erased all the unlawful records for him. She was deeply moved, and her gratitude to Master was beyond words. She told her son, “Look, Master really helped us. This is a wonder of Dafa.” Her son personally witnessed the miracle and gained a new understanding of Dafa and Master.
After getting back from the police station, the mother told me, “I didn’t cultivate well before, and so I had not personally experienced miracles of Dafa over the years. This time, I truly felt Master’s compassion and the wonder of Dafa! I’m not that diligent, yet Master still helps me so much. I must cultivate diligently in the future to repay Master’s grace.”
Their son has started working, and everything is going smoothly for him. Through this experience, I felt the power of Dafa. We simply changed our mindset with the thought that Dafa practitioners are not guilty, do not have criminal records, and do not exist. I’m deeply grateful to Master and Dafa.
