(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

Mr. Leng Zhehui was scheduled to stand trial on February 5, 2026.

2. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Di Jianchao Facing Trial

Mr. Di Jianchao was scheduled to stand trial in the Wuhua District Court on February 6, 2026.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Xiaoling Detained

Ms. He Xiaoling has been detained in a brainwashing center in Wuchang District since November 2025. Her husband has hired a lawyer for her.

4. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Baozhi Facing Trial

Ms. Wang Baozhi is scheduled to appear in the Xuanwu District Court soon.

5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Huang Zuolan Detained

Ms. Huang Zuolan, 56, was arrested at home by four officers from the Daxindian Town Police Station on January 19, 2026. She was detained for 12 days and released on January 31, 2026.

6. [Tianjin] Six Practitioners Harassed

Four practitioners from Bohai Petroleum Field in Tanggu District were harassed by Dagu Police Station officers in early February 2026. The police knocked on their doors under the pretext of checking their household registration or investigating a scam. The practitioners included Zheng Yujuan, Xu Meizhen, Kong Defeng, and Ding Youlin.

Around the same time, Ding Yan was harassed by Nanhai Road Police Station officers, and Li Weizhen was harassed by Beikenshan Police Office officers.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Du Chong Harassed

Mr. Du Chong was harassed at his food shop in November 2025, December 2025, and January 2026, by Jiulong Street Police Station officers and local community staff members. They took photos of him, and pressured his wife to sign a blank paper, which she refused.

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Arrested

Ms. Shi, 72, first name unknown, was arrested outside her apartment building on January 28, 2026. Her home was ransacked.

9. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xie Xinling Arrested

Ms. Xie Xinling, 53, was arrested around January 24, 2026. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Ruhua Arrested

Ms. Gao Ruhua was arrested at home on January 7, 2026. The police confiscated a Falun Gong book and some lectures by Falun Gong’s founder. Ms. Gao was taken to the Nanhao Police Station and released in the afternoon. She was summoned to the police station the next day, then released on bail, with her husband listed as her guarantor. She was ordered to report to the police every two weeks.

11. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sufang Detained

Ms. Wang Sufang, 76, was arrested by Railway Police Station officers on October 13, 2025, after being reported for talking to some students about Falun Gong. While the police released her later that day, they arrested her again on October 15 and detained her for 10 days. She was released on October 24, 2025, and placed under residential surveillance.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhao Hua Detained

Ms. Zhao Hua was arrested by officers from the Guanghua Police Station, while she was distributing informational materials about Falun Gong at night on December 29, 2025. She was taken to the Pi County Detention Center at midnight.

13. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Yuan Xiaoyun Harassed

Ms. Yuan Xiaoyun was harassed at home by two officers from the Xiaochi Town Police Station on January 28, 2026. The police took photos of her.

14. [Beijing] Ms. Wei Suwen Sentenced to Seven and a Half Years in Prison

Ms. Wei Suwen was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison by the Dongcheng District Court. She was admitted to the Beijing Women’s Prison on January 29, 2026.
