(Minghui.org) Pacific Mall Toronto is located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and has 450 businesses. It was opened in the mid-1990s and is the largest indoor Asian goods center. According to reports it is the biggest Asian shopping mall in the Western world.
The mall a must-see attraction for tourists from all over the world. Those who recently immigrated to Canada like to purchase goods there. It is also a must-see site for Chinese tourists.
The practitioners in Toronto set up a truth-clarifying site at the crossroads of the square, and cars coming from all directions can see their banners. The drivers often honk their horns or give the practitioners a thumbs up to encourage them. Practitioners have been at this location for two decades. Despite the cold wind, and snow storms in winter, or the scorching sun in summer, they set up their banners every day. They come to the site every day to clarify the truth and help people quit the CCP, even on the coldest day with temperature -20 degrees Celsius. Every day they help at least twelve people withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

Despite the cold winter weather practitioners demonstrate the exercises, clarify the truth to people and help them quit the CCP.
Lady from Shandong: Our Whole Family Quit the CCP
Ms. Wu, a Falun Dafa practitioner said, “It’s been extremely cold in Toronto, and the roads are covered with snow. One day I tried to give way to a lady coming from the other direction. But, because the street was very narrow due to the snow, we almost bumped into each other. We both laughed, and I told her that we were predestined to meet. I told her stories of people quitting the CCP. She said she quit the CCP at the Pacific Mall site, and she also asked her whole family to quit the CCP.”
The lady explained she was from Weifang City, Shandong Province. She said, “I live nearby. I’ve come to visit my daughter and I look after my grandchildren. During the COVID pandemic, I stayed in Toronto for 6 months and I often came to the Pacific Mall. Every time I came I saw practitioners holding banners. I knew that you were against the CCP. I thought you people had nothing else to do and came here to do something meaningless. I refused to accept your materials.”
She laughed and continued, “I went back to China, and I returned to Toronto last August. I came to the mall and saw you practitioners again. Wow! You have more people and more banners. Instead of holding banners, you fixed the banners which look very professional. The banners look so nice!”
She said, “I wondered if your persistence was Heaven’s will and if quitting the CCP was also Heaven’s will. When a lady asked me to quit the CCP, I agreed immediately. Every time I come here and see you, I feel very close to you.
“I wanted to help my daughter and my husband quit the CCP. But you told me that they must agree to quit the CCP themselves. I took a flyer and asked my husband and daughter to quit the CCP themselves on the website. Thank you so much!”
Immigrant from Fujian Province Praises Practitioners
Ms. Wu met a lady named Xiao Xue at a bicycle repair stall near the Pacific Mall. Xiao Xue asked Ms. Wu how old she was and said it was risky to ride a bicycle at her age. Ms Wu replied, “I’m in my 70s. I come here by bicycle every day. It’s fast and convenient for me.”
Xiao Xue said, “You are a Falun Dafa practitioner. Do you know that I quit the CCP at the Pacific Mall site? I think practitioners are very nice, but my father was against you. When I told him that I quit the CCP he asked why I listened to you. He said every time he passed that site, they [practitioners] followed him and said that quitting was good for him. He said that nowadays no one does anything good for other people. He was very stubborn.”
Ms. Wu met Xiao Xue a few days later. She excitedly told Ms. Wu, “I’ll tell you some good news. My father has changed. On that cold day when the temperature was -24 degrees Celsius, my father came home from the Pacific Mall and said loudly, ‘Wow! Do you know, in such cold weather, those Falun Dafa practitioners are still there, doing the exercises. Now I believe it. They indeed are not for themselves. In such cold weather no one is willing to come out no matter how much money the person is given. I will not go out no matter how much money I was given. It looks like Falun Dafa practitioners are indeed doing good things for other people. I believe it now. I believe it.”
Ms. Wu shed tears and told Xiao Xue, “Thank you for telling me this good news. We are greatly encouraged.”
Ms. Wu said, “That day I wrote a letter to the other practitioners. I wrote, ‘In the frozen weather, you stand there, warming the sky, the land and every passer-by whose cold heart was warmed. You might not have pondered how many Chinese people have been awakened by your perseverance at the site.’”
Chinese Official: You Are Remarkable! Keep it up!
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang greets everyone warmly and says, “How are you? I wish you good luck! Have you heard of quitting the CCP to stay safe?”
A couple from Beijing stopped their car and took the flyer Ms. Huang offered them. When she asked them if they joined the CCP, the Youth League and Young Pioneer, the wife said, “It is impossible that people like us in the CCP’s high level government haven’t joined the CCP. We couldn’t do without it.”
Ms. Huang said, “The husband is a high official in the CCP government system. The wife is a CCP media reporter. They listened to me attentively when I told them the reason so many Chinese have quit the CCP and the truth about Falun Dafa. Both of them agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations without any hesitation.”
The husband told Ms. Huang, “The CCP’s corruption and the bad things they have done are far beyond what you told us. They have done many more bad deeds than you know. Since we are in their system, we know a lot. So we retired quickly and came here. The further we are away from that environment, the better. You are remarkable! We support you! Keep it up! We thank you very much!”
They talked to practitioners for a long time. They felt happy and said good-bye to the practitioners reluctantly.
On another occasion, a gentleman in his sixties came to the Pacific Mall site. Ms. Huang asked him if he joined the CCP, he said, “How could I be a CCP official if I was not a member of the CCP? I should run away from the CCP quickly. Otherwise I would have bad luck if I follow it as you said.”
He withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations using the alias “Fu Bao (meaning “blessed”). He said, “I am blessed now. Thank you! I know that you [practitioners] are all very good.”
A Young Man Quit the CCP
A young man from Shandong Province who was born after 1980 listened to the practitioner at the Pacific Mall site attentively and agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations using alias “Guang Ming” (meaning “brightness”). He said he would have a bright future after he quit the CCP. He said, “The CCP has done too many bad things. We must pull it down. What could I do?” When he learned that Falun Dafa practitioners want to let people know the evil nature of the CCP and keep themselves away from the CCP so that they can avoid future disasters, he said that he would urge more people to quit the CCP to keep themselves safe.
Ms. Huang told him that she suffered from all sorts of illnesses when she was young but recovered and became illness-free after she practiced Falun Dafa. She said, “I am 60 years old, but I can walk long distances briskly.” He was surprised and asked, “What? 60 years old? I don’t believe it. You look like you are a bit over 30 years old, less than 40 years old.”
She pointed to the practitioners who were doing the exercises and said, “Look at them. They are older than me. The oldest one is 90 years old. She comes here to hold banners with us every day. Why has Falun Dafa spread to the world? Why is it welcomed by so many people? There are so many living examples. These practitioners come here every day and ask people to quit the CCP to keep themselves safe. Who else can do what they are doing?”
The young man watched the practitioners quietly, and then told Ms. Huang, “You are amazing! I will come to learn Falun Dafa one day.”
Another young man in his thirties from Shandong Province agreed to quit the CCP with the alias “Wan Shun” (meaning everything goes smoothly). He said, “I spent a lot of money to escape China. You know the CCP is bad. People in China have no future.” He talked to Ms. Huang for a long time. He had a tough life. Ms. Huang helped him withdraw from the CCP and told him she hopes everything goes smoothly for him going forward.
After he withdrew from the CCP, he said, “You are very good. I spent money to escape from China so that I can live. Now I have been saved. I thank you!”
“We All Learn Falun Dafa!”
One day Ms. Huang told a young man just coming here from China the significance of quitting the CCP. He agreed to quit without any hesitation. When she continued clarifying the truth to him, a lady from Hong Kong came and listened attentively. When Ms. Huang said that she benefited a lot from practicing Falun Dafa and that she felt her body was light as though she was in her sixties, the lady was surprised and said that Ms. Huang looked young.
The lady asked many questions, and Ms. Huang answered each one. She asked Ms. Huang to teach her Falun Dafa exercises on the spot.
Ms. Huang said, “People in the bookstore inside the Pacific Mall will teach you the exercise movements. You can also attend their 9-day video lectures.”
The young man from China was excited and said he wanted to learn them. They went to the bookstore together.
On another occasion, a middle-aged lady from Hong Kong talked to Ms. Huang. She looked like she was suffering and said, “You know Hong Kong is now finished. Wherever the CCP goes, that place is finished.” Ms. Huang comforted her and said, “Rest assured, Heaven will punish those bad people.” She said, “I believe it. I support you!”
She watched the practitioners doing the exercises and said, “You people are remarkable. You people are kind, smart, and upright.” She looked moved and repeated three times: “You people are kind, smart, and upright.”
