(Minghui.org) As the owner of a small barber shop, I would like to share the following stories about my customers who received blessings after learning the facts about Falun Dafa.
When I chatted with a regular customer, Xiao Ma, I learned that he and his wife were married for years, but were unable to have children. They visited many hospitals, but every examination showed the same result: they could not conceive. Even IVF failed. Doctors told them that due to issues with their blood, having a child naturally was impossible, so they considered adopting.
I previously told them about Falun Dafa and how someone received blessings. A village Party secretary’s daughter-in-law was unable to conceive for 14 years. One day, she publicly said that Falun Dafa was being wronged. Just for speaking that one sentence, she became pregnant two months later and gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
I told Xiao Ma and his wife, “You should try it. First, quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Then, whenever you have time, sincerely recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ If you recite it with a sincere heart, it will bring you blessings.” They agreed and quit the Party.
They came to my shop two months later. Xiao Ma’s wife kept glancing at me, but since other customers were around, we didn’t talk. Two more months passed, and they returned. This time I noticed Xiao Ma’s wife had gained weight and was smiling. I asked, “Are you pregnant?” She smiled, and nodded.
I replied, “I’m so happy for you! You should thank Master Li for the blessing!”
A woman came in for a haircut. Her complexion was dark and sallow, and her eyes were large and deeply sunken. She looked emaciated—almost like a living skeleton. If someone saw her at night they might be frightened.
I couldn’t help but ask why she was so thin. She sighed and said, “I know. I’m too thin. I haven’t slept well for years due to severe insomnia, and it’s very painful. I came from Northeast China to help take care of my daughter’s child day and night, and I’m exhausted. With the insomnia on top of that, I feel like my body can’t take it anymore. I’m thinking about going to the hospital for a checkup.”
I said, “It’s fate that brought you to my shop today. I want to tell you something that will truly help you.” She nodded her head. I explained the importance of quitting the CCP for one’s safety. I told her, “There are gods, but the Communist Party is atheist. Atheism goes against the divine, and one day the Party will be eliminated. Anyone who joined the Party, Youth League, or the Young Pioneers should withdraw to ensure their safety and a bright future.”
I asked which organizations she joined. She said the Youth League and Young Pioneers. I helped her to quit using a pseudonym. Then I told her about the persecution of Falun Dafa, the truth about the Tiananmen Square self-immolation, and I encouraged her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” whenever she had time.
When she returned a few months later I noticed she gained weight. I said, “You’ve gained weight! You look great!”
She laughed and replied, “Yes! I used to look like a skeleton, but now my complexion is better. After you told me to recite ‘Falun Dafa is good,’ I started reciting it every night before bed. I easily fell asleep. Now I sleep well and I eat more. Reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good’ really works!”
I was truly happy for her.
A couple came to my shop. The man’s face was pale and yellowish. I said, “You don’t look very well. Are you feeling sick?” He nodded. His wife quietly told me that he had cancer.
I said, “It’s fate that brought you here today. I want to share something that will truly benefit your health. Please sincerely recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ The more sincerely you believe, the more effective it will be.” I shared several examples of people who received blessings after reciting these words. I also explained that Falun Dafa is unjustly persecuted, that the Tiananmen self-immolation was staged, and why quitting the CCP is important for one’s safety.
They understood and thanked me sincerely and said they would begin reciting the phrases.
Several years later, the man came back to my shop for a haircut. As soon as he walked in, he asked, “Do you recognize me?”
I replied, “Yes, you’re the gentleman who wasn’t feeling well! You look so healthy now. Has your condition improved?”
He smiled brightly and replied, “Yes! Ever since you told us to recite ‘Falun Dafa is good,’ we’ve recited it every day. We kept saying this and my complexion kept improving. I never imagined it would be so effective. It truly works!”
