(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiuying Faces Trial
Ms. Chen Xiuying was arrested by Weicheng District Domestic Security Division officers in July 2025 and is being held in custody. She was scheduled to be tried at Weicheng District Court on the morning of March 11, 2026.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Niu Guifang Faces Trial
Ms. Niu Guifang from Hushitai Town in the Shenbei New District was scheduled to be tried in the Dadong District Court at 9 a.m. on March 11, 2026.
3. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Fengxian’s Pension Terminated
Ms. Jia Fengxian was arrested by Douzhuang Police Station officers on June 20, 2016, for talking to people about Falun Gong. The exact date of her release is unknown. She later stayed away from home to avoid the persecution for some time. She was sentenced to seven months in prison by the Zhuozhou City Court on September 6, 2019.
The Zhuozhou City Social Security Bureau has withheld Ms. Jia’s pension since February 2026. Bureau officials have not only refused to issue her her pension but have also made demands that she return up to 480,000 yuan in pension payments she received in the past.
4. [Shanghai] Mr. Liu Shunming Monitored
Mr. Liu Shunming in Maqiao Town in the Minhang District has been under surveillance since March 2, 2026, and has been harassed and followed.
Ms. He Pinqin in Maqiao Town in the Minhang District has also been harassed and followed.
5. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Hong Arrested
Ms. Yu Hong, about 70, who lives in a residential community in Hutouyan in the Yuzhong District was arrested at home by officers from the Yuzhong District Domestic Security Division and the Shiyou Road Police Station on February 21, 2026. They ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, cell phones, and other personal belongings.
Ms. Yu is being held in the Chongqing First Detention Center in the Nan’an District. When it was reported that Falun Gong materials were posted on the doors of several residents in her neighborhood, the police suspected that Ms. Yu was responsible.
Ms. Yu was released from prison in April 2025 after serving a four-and-a-half-year sentence. Her most recent arrest came less than a year later.
6. [Chongqing] Several Practitioners’ Homes Ransacked
Several practitioners in the Hechuan District were harassed and had their homes ransacked by Hechuan District Domestic Security Division officers on the morning of March 3, 2026.
Plainclothes officers, who claimed to be from the Domestic Security Division, forced their way into Ms. Lan Tailian’s home and conducted a search on the grounds that they’d received a report. Two officers restrained her while another one took photos. Several other officers ransacked her place. They confiscated two photos of the founder of Falun Gong, five copies of Zhuan Falun, several writings by the founder of Falun Gong, a USB drive, CDs, several amulets, and about a hundred yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.
They didn’t show any identification cards or search warrant, nor did they provide a list of items they confiscated.
Ms. Yang Bangbi’s home was ransacked at around 11 a.m. that same day by Hechuan District Domestic Security Division officers. The officers and local community staff members forced their way into her home on the grounds that they’d received a report about her. They did not present any IDs before ransacking her place, confiscating photos of the founder of Falun Gong, her Falun Gong books, writings by the founder of Falun Gong, memory cards with Falun Gong lectures and exercise music, USB drives, and other materials. They left in a hurry and did not provide a list of items confiscated.
Ms. Gao Jie’s home was also ransacked that same morning. That incident has already been reported on the Minghui website.
7. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Detained
Ms. Jiang, nearly 70, was reported to the police after one of her students secretly recorded her telling them about Falun Gong on the morning of July 7, 2025. She was arrested that afternoon and taken to the No. 6 Hospital for a physical exam. That evening, she was taken to Deyang Lockup facility for seven days of detention.
8. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Yanxiang and His Son Arrested
Mr. Zhang Yanxiang and his non-practitioner son from Zhougezhuang Town were arrested by Damoujia Town Police Station officers on February 28, 2026. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated a computer and a printer. Mr. Zhang’s son was released that day.
9. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Feng Guoqing Harassed
Mr. Feng Guoqing and his family were harassed by Biegu Town Police Station officers on March 3, 2026. Since Mr. Feng was not at home, they called his daughter and told her that her father should not go to Beijing for the next few days.
10. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Xiuying and Her Daughter Harassed
Si Guangtao, a residential officer with the Shapo Police Station, harassed Ms. Wang Xiuying of Xi’an Jiaotong University at 4:30 p.m. on March 6, 2026. Si told her family members that they should not to let her go out.
Si called and harassed Ms. Wang’s daughter at around 6 p.m. that evening.
11. [Chongqing] Ms. Su Mingli Harassed
Ms. Su Mingli, 69, from the Qijiang District was harassed by five community staff members on the morning of March 6, 2026. As soon as they entered her home, they pronounced her name for verification. They claimed that they were there to register members of “illegal” organizations. As they left, they said, “It’s fine if you practice at home, but do not go out and spread the word.”
12. [Qing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Fengmei Arrested
Ms. Li Fengmei went out to tell people about Falun Gong at around 9 a.m. on February 20, 2026. She ran into a plainclothes police officer in his early 20s. The officer grabbed her and refused to let her go. He then called for a police car.
From the police station, Ms. Li was transferred to a detention center early in the evening. Her blood pressure was very high when she got there, so they measured it three or four more times, but it never came down, and detention center officials refused to admit her. Her family was notified shortly after 8 p.m. They told the police officer, “If anything happens to her, I will hold you personally responsible.” The officers told her family to take her home.
