(Minghui.org) The Yunnan Province Second Women’s Prison was initially designated to incarcerate female felons. After the communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, the prison also became a place where female practitioners were imprisoned and tortured for exercising their constitutional right to freedom of belief.
Minghui.org previously reported on the various forms of torture used on jailed Falun Gong practitioners, including savage beatings and involuntary drug administration. Some practitioners died while still serving time in the prison or after they were released. Many others sustained severe physical and mental damage. This report presents a list of 23 Falun Gong practitioners still held in the prison. They are serving prison sentences ranging from two to ten years.
Ms. Fang Shimei, around 60, is serving a 10-year term set to end in April 2032.
Ms. Zhu Enhua, around 35, is serving an 8-year term set to end in October 2031.
Ms. Yan Derong, around 65, is serving a 5.5-year term set to end in April 2029.
Ms. Li Hongmei, around 47, is serving a 5-year term set to end in July 2028.
Ms. Liu Cuixian, around 74, is serving a 4.5-year term set to end in January 2029.
Ms. Wang Jinxian, around 70, is serving a 4.5-year term set to end in December 2028.
Ms. Liang Yun, around 70, is serving a 4-year term set to end in December 2028.
Ms. Ou Xuehui, in her 50s, is serving a 4-year term set to end in August 2028.
Ms. Xu Yamei, around 40, is serving a 4-year term set to end in July 2027.
Ms. Liu Xiaoping, around 69, is serving a 4-year term set to end in July 2028.
Ms. Bi Jinmei, around 61, is serving a 3.5-year term set to end in July 2028.
Ms. Yuan Yiqun, around 56, is serving a 3.5-year term set to end in February 2028.
Ms. Zhou Xulin, around 69, is serving a 3.5-year term set to end in July 2029.
Ms. An Shunlian, 78, is serving a 3.5-year term set to end in July 2029.
Ms. Zheng Cuilian, around 79, is serving a 3-year term set to end in July 2027.
Ms. Ma Ling, around 69, is serving a 3-year term set to end in July 2027.
Ms. Yang Huifang, around 58, is serving a 3-year term set to end in July 2027.
Ms. Li Huanzhen, around 70, is serving a 3-year term set to end in July 2027.
Ms. He Zeying, around 79, is serving a 3-year term set to end in May 2028.
Ms. Yao Zuming is serving a 2-year term set to end in August 2026.
Ms. Zhu Yongzhen, around 73, is serving a 2-year term set to end in July 2026.
Ms. Wang Yulan, around 78, is serving a 2-year term set to end in July 2026.
