(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained
2. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Pu Xianyou and His Wife Ms. Luo Detained
3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia] Ms. Xin Linyuan Released From Prison
4. [Zhongwei City, Ningxia] Two Practitioners Released From Prison
1. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained
Ms. Qin Kerong, Ms. Xu Wenli and Ms. Sun Rui were arrested at their respective homes by Yilan County Police Department officers on January 7, 2026. Their Falun Gong books were confiscated. Ms. Xu and Ms. Sun were detained at the Harbin City Lockup for 10 days and released on January 18, 2026. Ms. Qin is still detained.
2. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Pu Xianyou and His Wife Ms. Luo Detained
Mr. Pu Xianyou, around 50, and his wife, Ms. Luo, were arrested by officers from the Zichuan District Domestic Security Division and Hongshan Town Police Station around January 20, 2026. They have been held at the Zibo City Detention Center.
3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia] Ms. Xin Linyuan Released From Prison
Ms. Xin Linyuan was released from prison in February 2026 after serving a two-year term.
4. [Zhongwei City, Ningxia] Two Practitioners Released From Prison
Ms. Zhang Yulian and Ms. Wen Yuxiu were released from the Ningxia Women’s Prison in September and November 2025, respectively. Ms. Zhang served two years and two months, and Ms. Wen served two years and four months.
