(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wansheng Incapacitated While Serving Time in Prison
2. [Jiexi County, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Jiaxin Detained
3. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Xiulan and Mr. Liu Kaifang Arrested
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Released
5. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Shen Bin Harassed
6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Guo Layun Held in Brainwashing Center
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wansheng Incapacitated While Serving Time in Prison
Mr. Liu Wansheng was arrested on April 23, 2020, and sentenced to six years in prison. He was admitted to the Jinzhou Prison in May 2021. His prison term will end on April 22, 2026.
In December 2025, Mr. Liu was rushed to the Jinzhou City Hospital for resuscitation on multiple occasions. He remains incapacitated.
2. [Jiexi County, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Jiaxin Detained
Mr. Wu Jiaxin was arrested before March 3, 2026. He has been transferred from the Jiexi Detention Center to the Jiedong Detention Center. The police have submitted his case to a local procuratorate.
3. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Xiulan and Mr. Liu Kaifang Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xiulan was arrested on March 3, 2026. The police ransacked her home and seized her Falun Gong books, 200 yuan in cash, and other items. She has since been released.
Mr. Liu Kaifang was also arrested in March 2026. His whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Released
Mr. Guo Peng, Mr. Yuan Xiufeng, Ye Changguo, gender unknown, and Sun Zhanting, gender unknown, were arrested on March 13, 2026, by officers from the Tiexi Domestic Security Division and the Gongrencun Police Station. All of their homes were ransacked, and they were held in the Tiexi District Detention Center. The practitioners were released on March 28.
5. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Shen Bin Harassed
Ms. Shen Bin was harassed on March 30, 2026, by officers from the Luoshui Town Police Station.
6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Guo Layun Held in Brainwashing Center
Ms. Guo Layun was harassed at work on March 5, 2026, by officers and clerks from the Xinglin Street and Shangchengshe Communities. They tried to force her to sign a document renouncing Falun Gong. She refused.
After Ms. Guo returned home from work that night, over ten agents from her community, street, and the Political and Legal Affairs Committee took her to a brainwashing center. She developed high blood pressure and was released on March 9.
