(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Wang Ailan, in her 80s, was scheduled to stand trial on April 10, 2026. She was arrested on September 29, 2025, by officers from the Miaoshan Police Station. Her home was ransacked. She was released on bail that evening.
Ms. Wang Yaping’s trial was scheduled for April 10, 2026, by the Hunnan District Court.
The second hearing for Ms. Liu Shuzhen, Mr. Shi Zuosheng, Mr. Chen Xiumei, and Ms. Li Hongmei was scheduled for April 13, 2026, by the Acheng District Court.
The four practitioners were arrested on August 21, 2025. They have been detained ever since.
Ms. Cao Dongmei, around 65, was arrested in late March 2026. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Wang Hong has being missing since the end of June 2025.
Ms. Tao Xueling was arrested near her home on March 26, 2026, by the Huancui District Political Security Brigade officers who had been staking out there. One of the officers was Qin Xiaodong. They searched her home and confiscated a desktop computer, a notebook computer, three printers, a paper cutter, a stapler, Falun Gong books and printouts, flash-drives, pendants with Falun Gong messages, and other items. She was taken to a police station and released on bail that night, after her family paid a 5,000-yuan bond.
The police threaten to force Ms. Tao to undergo a physical exam required for detention.
Ms. Zhang Shuqin was released from Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on March 30, 2026, after serving a two-year term.
Ms. Wang Liangliang, a mother of three kids, was taken from her home to a brainwashing center on January 16, 2026, by Zhucheng City Domestic Security Division officers. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, several Falun Gong books, 8,000 yuan in cash, a notebook computer, a printer, cell phones, music players, and some Falun Gong printouts.
Ms. Wang was transferred to the Weifang Detention Center on January 24 and has been held there since. She is now facing indictment after the police submitted her case to the procuratorate.
Mr. Wang Guojun was summoned to the Taoyuan Police Station in Changchun City on March 5, 2026. Changchun oversees Nong’an County. The police searched his home and confiscated his Falun Gong books. He was detained for 15 days, and released on March 21.
