(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Zhou Lizhu was arrested by officers from the Xigang District Domestic Security Division and Beijing Street Police Station on March 2, 2026. The police ransacked her home, and confiscated 3,000 yuan in cash, a few small speakers, a USB drive, her ID card, and her payroll card. Her family received her formal arrest warrant on March 31.
Mr. Yu Chunsheng, 60, was arrested at home by Jia Town Police Station officers on March 17, 2026. He was taken to a lockup that afternoon and later transferred to the Liaocheng City Detention Center for five days. Only three days after being released, he was seized by Jia Town Police Station officers again, then admitted to the intensive care unit at a hospital the following day.
Practitioner Deng Bi was arrested on April 2, 2026. Deng’s home was ransacked.
Ms. Han Rui was arrested by officers from the Shengjing Town Police Station on March 27, 2026. Although she was released hours later, officers from the Zhangqiu District Domestic Security Division arrested her again the next morning and took her to an undisclosed location.
Mr. Ji Yongqiang was arrested at work on November 20, 2025, and taken to the Mengyin County Police Department. The following day, he was admitted to the Mengyin County Detention Center for 28 days. He was released on bail after being forced to pay a 10,000 yuan bond. The police seized his vehicle and have not returned it to him.
Ms. Huang Shuxian was arrested on February 28, 2026, and taken to a detention center. Her case has been submitted to a local procuratorate. Her family was summoned to the police station in April and ordered to sign her case document.
Ms. Zhao Renxia was released from prison on March 26, 2026, after serving a seven-year term.
Mr. Zhao Minghua was harassed on April 1, 2026, by two members of the Renzhao Town Party Committee, and the Dongzhaojiaguan Village Party secretary. They urged him and his wife to stop practicing Falun Gong. The two town Party committee members also harassed Mr. Wang Rongcheng and other Falun Gong practitioners who live nearby.
Two days later, on April 3, Liu Jie and other members of the Pingdu City 610 Office, led by the village Party secretary, went to Mr. Zhao’s home to harass him again, but he wasn’t in. They tore down the couplets on his door bearing Falun Gong messages.
Ms. Ma Hui, Ms. Tian, and Ms. Jiang were harassed over the phone in early April 2026 by their street committee directors, who ordered them not to go out to promote Falun Gong or contact other practitioners.
