(Minghui.org) Master has told us that this persecution was forced on us by the old forces and shouldn’t be recognized. I have always kept in mind that Master doesn’t recognize this persecution.
Before the persecution started, we had no concern when introducing Falun Dafa to others and felt it was our honor to do so. Why should we have any concern afterward? Those who distribute commercial ads don’t have any fear, why should I have fear? Isn’t fear a form of recognizing the persecution and the opposite of what Master has taught us? Isn’t it a result of old human notions and a lack of faith? I felt lighter after I corrected my notions.
I have personally experienced the power of changing my notions and having strong faith while clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa.
One a hot summer afternoon about 20 years ago, it was quiet in our village because most people were taking a nap. I went out to post sticky notes that read “Falun Dafa is great.”
When I was about to post my last note, I heard a voice behind me say, “What are you doing?” I turned around and saw an old man coming out of an alleyway. I was nervous at first, but changed my notions immediately, since I was doing the best thing for others. I asked him with a smile, “You come at the perfect time! I’m short. Could you please help me post it higher up?” I handed him the sticky note. He walked over with a smile and helped me post the note “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great” high on the light pole.
Fellow practitioners and I went to post sticky notes in a nearby village one day. I didn’t see anyone outside a small factory, but when I was about to post a note on a light pole, a voice from behind me asked, “What are you posting?” I turned around and was surprised to see five people staring at me. My heart started pounding.
Master’s words came to my mind,

I calmed down after thinking of Master’s words. I replied loudly with a smile, “I’m posting an ad, announcing that Falun Dafa is great, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” I posted the note as I spoke.
A couple more people came out from the small factory. One asked, “Have they corrected the injustice? Is Falun Gong allowed now? How can you advertise Falun Gong openly?” I told them how the former head of the Chinese Communist Party, Jiang Zemin, had framed Falun Gong and Master, and why Falun Dafa is righteous.
I ran into dozens of people inside and outside a big courtyard in a village one day. They were chatting about something. I initially hesitated about posting my sticky notes, but I thought, “The persecution has been forced on us by the old forces. Master doesn’t recognize it, so we disciples shouldn’t either.” I posted a flyer on a light pole as high as possible and couldn’t reach higher to post a sticky note. A couple of tall young men happened to approach me. I asked one of them, “Could you help me post the sticky note above the flyer? I can’t reach it.” He agreed without hesitation. After putting it up, he stepped back and read aloud, “Falun Dafa is great!”
One day, I helped two women in a market quit the communist organizations they had joined. As we were talking, a middle-aged man shouted at us, “What are you doing? Are you Falun Gong? I’ll report you to the police.” Looking at his stern face, the two women got scared. I stayed calmed and replied with a smile, “Don’t shout. Come on over. Don’t scare us!”
He walked over, looking confused. I asked him, “Have you joined the Communist Party?” He said no but admitted that he had joined the Communist Youth League. I told him, “Hurry and quit it! The Communist Party is atheist, but it forces you to swear to give your life to its cause any time. It has destroyed temples and tombs, and killed so many people with its political movements. We can’t be accomplices to the Party. Quit it to be safe! What’s your last name?”
The man told me that his last name is Li. I suggested he quit using Li Yong as his nickname. I also told him to remember “Falun Dafa is great” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” He had totally forgotten about his initial attitude during our conversation. He eventually laughed and said, “I originally wanted to report you to the police but ended up quitting the communist organizations myself! It’s okay. I don’t need to be one of them.” I again told him to remember, “Falun Dafa is great,” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is great!” He said with a smile, “Definitely!”
An old man at a market once told me loudly, “I’m a member of the Communist Party. More than 10 Falun Gong people have tried to persuade me to quit. I just drove one away a moment ago. I don’t believe you!” I replied firmly and solemnly, “Jiang Zemin launched the persecution of Falun Gong. All his excuses were made up! He has framed and slandered Falun Gong. We didn’t recognize the persecution from the very beginning, and will never!”
He suddenly looked clear-minded and said, “That’s right! You shouldn’t recognize it! I support you! Great job! I believe you! You may help me quit the Party. My name is so-and-so.”
The process of truth clarification is a process of cultivating ourselves, strengthening our faith, and saving sentient beings. The above are just a few examples. Please feel free to point out anything in my sharing that has room for improvement.
