(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities outside the Chinese Consulate-General on April 24, 2026, in Sydney, Australia, to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the April 25 Appeal in Beijing.

Practitioners in Sydney have been using various ways to tell the Chinese people who live in Sydney as well as in China about Falun Dafa and the persecution over the past 27 years. They want to help them see the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). More and more people have become aware of the CCP’s atrocities, and some say they respect practitioners and their efforts.

Practitioners held activities outside the Chinese Consulate-General on April 24, 2026, to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the April 25 Appeal in Beijing.

“You are the most selfless, noble, upright and honest people”

Zhang chatted with a practitioner in Sydney on an online platform. He said that he has known for years that the CCP slanders Falun Dafa and persecutes practitioners.

He said, “I admire and respect you practitioners from the bottom of my heart. You are overseas and don’t need to care about anything happening in China. But you voluntarily help to spread the true information, which is blocked by the CCP’s firewall. You are the most selfless, noble, upright and honest people.”

He believed that learning the truth was very important. He said, “If a person cannot know the truth, then what is the meaning of his life? Recently I have been pondering on the meaning of life. If a person doesn’t have the basic freedom of thought, what does life mean for that person? There is no difference whether you live long or die young. There is no difference whether you live or die.”

He encouraged practitioners to continue: “You are doing the most meaningful thing every day by spreading the truth. You must keep it up. It is the most noble and sacred thing you are doing for the Chinese people in the current situation.”

He thought that what the Chinese have experienced in recent years would help them awaken. “I know more and more people are awakening. Brutal reality cannot be any worse. Like a frog in water slowly coming to a boil, no matter how numb the frog becomes, when the water temperature reaches 80, 90, or 100 degrees, it will definitely feel the pain. So, you must keep going.”

A practitioner in Sydney met Li through an online chat. Li often asked the practitioner for materials about China’s history. He said that he used to believe the CCP’s propaganda, but after he read the actual history of China and the CCP, he woke up and told his friends the true situation.

Because of his job, his son joined the CCP. When Li talked to his son, he always told him how evil and hypocritical the CCP was. Thanks to his efforts over many years, his son finally realized just how evil the CCP is and asked a friend who lives outside China to help him publish his statement that he quit the CCP.

Speaking from his own experiences, Li said, “Everyone—from high officials to the average person—needs to know the truth. Their stubborn minds will be gradually changed by the truth. In addition, they see what’s happening around them, so it will be easy for them to wake up.”

He believes that what the CCP is most afraid of is the truth. “Why does the CCP control what people say so tightly? Because people who have a conscience will tell the truth. The CCP regime is most afraid of the truth and the people who tell the truth. It suppresses truth. The freedom of speech and the freedom to petition are guaranteed in the CCP constitution, but they are lies.”

Mei from Jiangsu Province: “You are the most courageous and reliable people in the world.”

Mei was born in Jiangsu Province in the 1960s and owned a shop in the 1980s. Because she was honest and worked hard, her business grew and was popular. But she lost millions of yuan due to family conflicts. Her relatives conspired with government officials and the police department, and she lost everything.

Because she was not able to seek justice through her local government, she decided to go to the National Appeals Office in Beijing to lodge a complaint. She went to Beijing but the staff did not help her. The local officials in Jiangsu Province framed her, and she was sentenced to two years in prison. She said that she was brutally tortured in prison and almost died. She knows from her own experience that the CCP is hypocritical and evil.

A Falun Gong practitioner was detained in the cell next to Mei’s. She was very determined in her belief and refused to renounce Falun Gong even though she was tortured every day and was pressured by the guards and inmates. She resisted the persecution calmly. Mei said she admired her very much.

Mei said, “I came to understand from this Falun Gong practitioner that you are the most courageous and reliable people in the world.”
