(Minghui.org) Many visitors at AsiaFest’26 learned about Falun Dafa and the benefits of practicing this cultivation method. Falun Dafa practitioners from Dallas participated in the 22nd AsiaFest, which was held in Haggard Park in Plano, Texas on May 2, 2026. They introduced the spiritual practice and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution and transnational repression.
Sunlight touched the grass, and a cool breeze brought a welcome lift to festival-goers at the Asian Cultural Festival. Two practitioners demonstrated the exercises at the Falun Dafa booth. Visitors stopped by to learn about the practice and get information about the celebration of World Falun Dafa Day and free teaching. Some people said they wanted to learn the exercises, and left their contact information.

A couple from California who were visiting relatives talked with a practitioner, and upon hearing about the CCP’s persecution in China, expressed concern about this current plight. After learning about the free teaching of Falun Gong and the benefits of practicing it, they said they were very interested and wanted to learn more online after going home.
One middle-aged man and his wife said they had heard about the CCP’s persecution. He said his father was a veteran who served during the Vietnam war, and knew the nature of the CCP. He remarked that the CCP spreads lies and had conducted brain-washing on the Chinese people. His wife, who is from China, knew much about the issues. He took a copy of each of the informational materials on the table.
Flint, who is a judge in Collin County and former chair of the GOP Republican Party in the county, said he is running for State Representative for Texas District 70. He met a practitioner at the festival and stopped by the booth to get materials. He said he did not know much about the practice and the persecution. He thanked the practitioners for the information and encouraged them to participate in community events to let more people learn about the issue.
