(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Ya’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Fuping Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
2. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chang Hongxia Detained
3. [Ya’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Diwen Subjected to Involuntary Drug Administration in Prison
4. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Han Jianying Sentenced to Prison
5. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wen Qinglong Arrested
6. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Tian Tried
7. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Ju Biyun Arrested
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
9. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhao Jun Sentenced to Four Years in Prison
10. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Yan Arrested

1. [Ya’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhou Fuping Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Ms. Zhou Fuping was arrested at home by officers in Yucheng District on April 14, 2023. She was later sentenced to three years in prison.

2. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chang Hongxia Detained

Ms. Chang Hongxia, around 55, was arrested at home by Jiefang Police Station officers on April 23, 2026. The police confiscated several Falun Gong books from her. It is unknown where she has been detained.

3. [Ya’an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Diwen Subjected to Involuntary Drug Administration in Prison

Mr. Chen Diwen was sentenced to seven years in prison at an unknown time. While in prison, he was subjected to involuntary drug administration and various abuses. He became incapacitated and lost the ability to walk. He also became slow to react and experienced a significant reduction in mental capacity.

4. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Han Jianying Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Han Jianying, a 53-year-old physician, was arrested in September 2025 and has been detained since. She was tried by the Jianxi District Court on March 6, 2026, and sentenced to a heavy term. She has appealed to the Luoyang City Intermediate Court in mid-April 2026.

5. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wen Qinglong Arrested

Mr. Wen Qinglong, a 25-year-old hotel attendant, was arrested by Wendengying Police Station officers on April 24, 2026, after being reported for talking to some students about Falun Gong at a bus station. He was interrogated at the police station and released on bail later that day.

6. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Tian Tried

Ms. Liu Tian was scheduled to stand trial on April 27, 2026.

7. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Ju Biyun Arrested

Ms. Ju Biyun was arrested by over ten officers from the Huaxi District Police Department on April 13, 2026, after she was reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police broke into her home and ransacked her place. She was taken to the police department for interrogation, while being handcuffed and restrained in an interrogation chair. She was released around midnight.

8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tian Chunfang and Ms. Li Jiulan, from Wuhan City, went to Ezhou City in the same province on April 23, 2026, to visit another practitioner, Ms. Yan Xiantao. Over 20 plainclothes officers broke into Ms. Yan’s home and arrested Ms. Tian and Ms. Li. Both practitioners were given ten days of detention. Ms. Li was denied admission to the detention center and released on April 25.

9. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhao Jun Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Mr. Zhao Jun was sentenced to four years in prison and has been recently taken to Wangling Prison in You County.

10. [Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Yan Arrested

Ms. Gao Yan, 58, was arrested by Jiuman Township Police Station officers on April 24, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Jiumen Township Market. Her home was ransacked. He fell into a coma shortly after and was taken to the Xingcheng City Hospital.
