(Minghui.org) On May 9, 2026, a husband and wife from Iran stopped at the Kamppi Centre in Helsinki when they saw a blue tent surrounded by people dressed in blue and yellow.
The wife, Heidi, said after talking to the people there, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is the best interpretation of human nature.”
The people that Heidi and her husband, Farsin, saw were Falun Dafa practitioners holding an event to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. The practitioners presented a number of performances, including pieces by singer Anna Kokkonen, music by a gourd flutist, and a waist drum dance.

Passersby stopped to watch and take photos, and many spoke to the practitioners to learn more. A number of people signed the petition calling for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong in China.
“Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Truly Great”
Ida and Alex watched practitioners do the first exercise. When Ida read a brochure and saw the QR code, she asked a practitioner if that would lead her to more information and if she could take the brochure with her, because she wanted to take her time reading it.” Because she lives in the Helsinki area, the practitioner told her when and where the local summer outdoor exercise group met.
In celebration of World Falun Dafa Day, the practitioner gave the couple origami lotus flower pendants and told them about Falun Gong’s core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Ida said, “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is truly great!” She hung the pendant on her backpack and kept saying, “So beautiful!”

Iranian Husband and Wife: “I Truly Appreciate Everything You Do”
Farsin and Heidi, who have lived in Finland for three years, asked to sign the petition to end the CCP’s persecution. Farsin said, “I just looked up information about you online. This [the persecution] is truly infuriating.” “It’s horrible,” Heidi agreed.
A practitioner told them about China’s rich ancient culture, including traditional faiths like Falun Gong. However, under the CCP’s suppression, these traditions have all but disappeared. Farsin agreed, “Absolutely correct. I can very much understand.”
They expressed admiration for practitioners who persevere in their faith despite the tyranny of the regime. They also commended the practitioners for their efforts to defend the principles they believe in.
“I truly appreciate everything you do. I hope we can see a free China soon,” said Farsin
