1. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xin Kui Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison

Ms. Xin Kui, from Caoshi Town, was arrested by Shancheng Town Police Station officers on November 22, 2025, when distributing New Year calendars in Shancheng Town, Meihekou City. She was then taken to the Meihekou City Detention Center. Her case was submitted to the Meihekou City Court in February 2026.

Her family received notice from the Meihekou City Court in mid-March 2026, informing them that Ms. Xin had been sentenced to eight months in prison. Ms. Xin is currently detained in the Meihekou City Detention Center.

2. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Tian Yupeng and Zhang Jinyun Arrested

Mr. Tian Yupeng was arrested when posting Falun Gong-related stickers around April 14, 2026. Zhang Jinyun was arrested as well. Zhang has been released.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jia Zhihong Harassed

Ms. Jia Zhihong was planning to take a train from the Harbin City Railway Station on April 15, 2026. When she was waiting for the train, two plainclothes men wearing body cameras came up to her. One of them showed Ms. Jia his ID as a railway police officer. They questioned her as to whether she still practiced Falun Gong. Ms. Jia responded that it had nothing to do with her taking the train. They remained silent but still demanded to see her ID card and took a photo of it.

4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed

Five practitioners were harassed in April 2026, including Zhang Xiuqi and Yang Lanying from Laishui Town, Yan Heling from Yongyang Town, and Niu Yuqin and Xu Jianhua from Hujiazhuang Township.

5. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Hong Facing Indictment

The case against Ms. Chen Hong was submitted to the Hunnan District Procuratorate on April 15, 2026.

6. [Shanghai] Ms. Shi Meijun Missing

Ms. Shi Meijun has been missing since April 3, 2026.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Guixiang Detained

Ms. Yu Guixiang, 73, from Zhifu District, was arrested by Zhichu Police Station officers when she was talking to people about Falun Gong in a market on April 14, 2026. Ms. Yu is currently detained at an unknown location.

8. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Wenshen Arrested

Mr. Li Wenshen was arrested at home on April 13, 2026. The police ransacked his home and confiscated the computer, printer, and informational materials about Falun Gong. Mr. Li has since been released.

9. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Shi Rui Released after Being Detained for Two Years

Ms. Shi Rui was released from the Shijiazhuang Women’s Prison on April 16, 2026 after being detained for two years.
