(Minghui.org) The Music Program at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and the Department of Music at Fei Tian College are now accepting student applications. Applicants may submit applications online, and we will contact those who pass the preliminary review.
Applicant Requirements
1) Applicants must be students majoring in music. Those who practice Falun Dafa or have family members who practice will be given priority. Those who have the potential to become Falun Dafa practitioners will also be considered.
2) Age requirement: minimum 13 years of age. Exceptional candidates at age 12 can also apply.
3) Professional requirements for applicants to the Music Program: Musical skill at pre-conservatory level minimum.
4) Professional requirements for applicants to the Department of Music: Musical skill at pre-college level minimum.
5) Applications are open for these instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, harp, and flute.
Note: We already have enough applicants for clarinet, French horn, bass trombone, erhu and pipa this year.
Application Materials Requirements
6) Applicants must submit a general resume, a professional resume, and personal or family members’ cultivation experience. The general resume should include the applicant's name (the name should match that on the identification document), gender, date of birth, place of birth, country of citizenship, height, health status, home address, email address, and contact phone number.
7) Recent photos (within the past month): full-body, frontal view
8) Video requirement: Recent audition videos or video links should be included in the application materials. The deadline for submitting the video will be announced at a later date.
9) All required materials must be submitted together for the application to be considered formally submitted.
10) If the applicant does not pass preliminary review or has not provided required application materials, or materials are missing, falsified, or not within the scope of application notification, he or she will not receive an individual reply.
