(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held an information day in Hilversum, Noord-Holland, on June 13, 2026. They set up display boards, distributed flyers, introduced the spiritual practice, and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Many people expressed support and signed the petition calling for an end to the CCP’s human rights abuses.
Hilversum has a population of over 94,600 and covers an area of 46.19 square kilometers (17.83 square miles). Home to the Dutch Broadcasting Foundation (NOS) and numerous major radio, television, and newspaper companies, Hilversum is known as the “Media City” of the Netherlands.
Practitioners previously held information day events in the city four times from 2024 to 2025, and many people learned about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution.

Peter who was pushing a stroller stopped and accepted a flyer. When a practitioner asked him to sign the petition, he said, “Will it help?” The practitioner said each signature was a statement that objected to the CCP’s brutality.
He signed the petition and said, “I don’t understand why state power is being used to suppress people simply for practicing meditation.” He explained that he was from Peru so he knew how bad communism was.
A Family Signs the Petition
The Meheops, along with their two daughters, signed the petition. The older daughter Romy said, “Live organ harvesting is horrible and must be stopped.”

Many people said they learned about the persecution years ago. Some hugged practitioners and thanked them for being there and telling people about the situation.
