(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Zeng Liuyun was arrested at home in late October 2025, and has since been held in the Huaihua City Detention Center. She is now facing trial by the Yuanling County Court.
Ms. Chai Yanhong, 78, and Zheng, in his or her 40s, went missing on May 23, 2026. Their families suspect that they may have been arrested.
Ms. Song Yaping was arrested at the morning market near her home on June 15, 2026, by Jinhua Police Station officers. Her home was ransacked, and a dozen Falun Gong books, two tablets, and a cell phone were confiscated. She was taken to the police station for an interrogation, and then released on bail.
Zhou Fenglan, Wang Lirong, Ren Cuirong, Leng, and Jin were harassed at home in May and June 2026. The police took photos of them without permission.
Ms. Wang Xiuqin was arrested on June 4, 2026.
Ms. Liu Zhiqing was arrested on December 28, 2025, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was summoned to the local procuratorate on June 16, 2026.
Ms. Cui Huizhi, 78, was arrested on June 9, 2026. She is currently being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.
Ms. Zhang Yu’e and Ms. Zhang Lianming were arrested on March 20, 2026. The police confiscated a carload of personal belongings and over 100,000 yuan in cash from them. Ms. Zhang Lianming was released in the evening. Ms. Zhang Yu’e was admitted to a detention center, and her arrest was approved on April 25, 2026.
Ms. Liu Zhimei, 75, is scheduled to stand trial on June 18, 2026.
Ms. Tong Ling was arrested on June 15, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Ji Sufeng was arrested by officers from the Beijiadian Police Station and Guye District Police Department on June 10, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was given 10 days in the Tangshan City Lockup.
Ms. Wang was also arrested in June 2026 and is currently held at the Tangshan City Detention Center.
