(Minghui.org) I’d like to share my thoughts on the cultivation environment in Vietnam.

“So our practitioners in Vietnam should maintain their composure during this unusual time, and for now not engage in large-scale activities meant to raise awareness—much less take countermeasures. Cultivation is about working on oneself, after all, and removing attachments, so for the time being you can study the Fa and do the exercises mainly on your own, and not organize large group-study sessions or exercises. Don’t let any lies from the media agitate or provoke you. Just quietly observe things. If anyone tries to stir things up, there are problems on that person’s part! Be sure to keep this in mind.” (“To the Practitioners of Vietnam”)
In my humble understanding, the center of the Fa-rectification is in mainland China. Therefore, Vietnamese practitioners should do as Master asked, or they may be inadvertently contributing to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) plan to extend the persecution of Falun Dafa to Vietnam. This means they would have fallen into the CCP’s and the old forces’ trap, and thus be interfering with Master’s Fa-rectification arrangements.
A notice from the Minghui Editorial Board in April 2025 titled “Practitioners in Vietnam Should Not Organize or Attend Large-Scale Activities” also mentioned this:
“Those who do not follow the Fa’s requirements not only hinder their own improvement in cultivation but also disrupt the peaceful cultivation environment that was hard-won by Vietnamese practitioners. Therefore, practitioners in Vietnam must not hold large-scale activities for World Falun Dafa Day, other holidays, or anniversaries. These activities include (but are not limited to) parades, performances, public rallies, outdoor media events, photographing or recording videos of practitioners, experience-sharing conferences, parties, and other celebrations.”
The Falun Dafa community in Vietnam frequently holds large-scale activities, especially during World Falun Dafa Day. I feel those who organized and participated in these activities ignored Master’s teachings. Some even claimed the situation had changed since 2018.
Some Vietnamese practitioners haven’t paid attention to what Master said, and instead acted based on their emotions or understandings. These large-scale activities include formations, group practice with hundreds of people, large gatherings or festivals, art performances, and so on. All these were held in the name of celebrating World Falun Dafa Day. I hope practitioners carefully read Master’s article: “What Does It Mean to “Help Master Rectify the Fa”?” in The Essentials of Diligent Progress III.
There could be serious consequences if we ignore Master’s teachings.

“If you, as a student [of Dafa], do not follow Master’s requirements, it is definitely no simple thing. The old forces have arranged for all Dafa disciples a set of their things, so if a Dafa disciple doesn’t follow Master’s requirements, he must be following the old forces’ arrangements. The old forces are in essence gigantic trials and tribulations that accompany you at all times, focused on whether in Fa-rectification Dafa disciples are able to step forward.
“If after going through this ordeal some students are still not clearheaded, then they will miss [the opportunities presented in] all of this. Only when you follow Master’s requirements are you validating the Fa and cultivating yourself as a Dafa disciple, and only then are you a true Dafa disciple.” (“Be Clearheaded,” The Essentials of Diligent Progress III)
We are Falun Dafa practitioners, so we should follow Master’s teachings and focus on improving ourselves instead of going astray.
This is my personal understanding. Please point out if there is anything inconsistent with the Fa.
