(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Chongqing] Mr. Li Chunyuan’s Trial Scheduled

Mr. Li Chunyuan’s trial was scheduled for July 3, 2026, by the Liangjiang New District Court. The case was previously returned by the court to the procuratorate, citing insufficient evidence. The Fuling District Domestic Security Office submitted additional information against her.

2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Feiqin Faces Indictment

Ms. Ma Feiqin and Ms. Cui Zhanmei were arrested on June 15, 2026, by the Wanquan Police Station officers. Ms. Cui was held at the Zhangjiakou City Lockup. She launched a five-day hunger strike to protest and has been released.

Ms. Ma was taken to the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center the day after her arrest. Her case was submitted to the Wanquan County Procuratorate. Her family has hired a lawyer for her.

3. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Zheng Yufang Faces Indictment

Ms. Zheng Yufang was arrested on April 17, 2026, by Songshan District Domestic Security Division officers. She has been detained since. She is now facing indictment by the Songshan District Procuratorate.

4. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Tian Xixun Missing

Tian Xixun, gender unknown, has been missing since May 10, 2026.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lyu Guiying Arrested

Ms. Lyu Guiying was arrested on June 10, 2026. She was taken to the Yingezhuang Police Station and released the same day. She has since been harassed by the police multiple times. They ordered her to sign a document for a 10-day detention. She refused to comply.

6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhou Changlan Arrested

Ms. Zhou Changlan was arrested in October 2025.

7. [Zhongning County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Hu Hong Harassed

Ms. Hu Hong was harassed at the end of May 2026. The police took photos of her and threatened to check on her every quarter.

8. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Shihai Released After Completing Four-Year Sentence

Mr. Li Shihai has been released after serving a four-year prison sentence.

9. [Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Ding Wenjun Arrested

Ms. Ding Wenjun was arrested at home on June 18, 2026, by Lanling Police Station officers, after she was reported for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the police station for interrogation and released hours later.

10. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Pan Qiang and His Wife Detained

Mr. Pan Qiang was arrested on May 25, 2026. His home was ransacked. Police took away his wife, who doesn’t practice Falun Gong, at the same time, and detained her for seven days. He was formally arrested and is being held at the Donggang City Detention Center.

The police recently harassed Mr. Pan’s wife and mother, after his arrest was reported by Minghui.org. They demanded to know who submitted the information.

11. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

Zheng Zhijun, Wang Rongcheng, Zhao Minghua, and Yu Zhenxiang were harassed on June 15, 2026, by the Renzhao Police Station officers. The police took photos of the practitioners against their will.

12. [Beijing] Lin Nan Formally Arrested

Lin Nan, gender unknown, was arrested on January 18, 2026. Lin has been formally arrested and is still being held at the Chaoyang District Detention Center.
