(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

4. [Taigu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Pei Yinxiang and Her Daughter Ms. Bai Juanjuan Detained
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Tian Xiuzhen Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison
6. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Gao Zuokui Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison
7. [Daye City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Xixia and Ms. Cao Zhongrong Released
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Wanwu and His Wife Ms. Hu Guangyan Harassed
9. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] A Female Practitioner Harassed
10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Nie Xiaomei Facing Trial

Ms. Nie Xiaomei was scheduled to appear in the Penglai District Court for a second hearing on July 14, 2026.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Chen Zeying, 82, Ms. Zhao Ming’ai, 78, Ms. Xue Xia, 57, and Ms. Lin, 60, were arrested on July 8, 2026, for studying Falun Gong books together. The arresting officers from the Changjiang Road Police Station and the Qingdao Development Zone Police Department ransacked their homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books and other personal belongings.

Ms. Zhao and Ms. Chen were released after 24 hours in detention. The situations of Ms. Xue Xia and Ms. Lin are unknown.

3. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Teng Shuwen was arrested at home in mid-July 2026. Six other practitioners who happened to be visiting her were also arrested.

4. [Taigu County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Pei Yinxiang and Her Daughter Ms. Bai Juanjuan Detained

Ms. Pei Yinxiang, 78, and her daughter, Ms. Bai Juanjuan, were arrested on April 24, 2026. Ms. Pei was detained one day in the police department and several hundred yuan in cash was confiscated. Ms. Bai was detained for 15 days and lost her job.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Tian Xiuzhen Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison

Ms. Tian Xiuzhen was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She was admitted to the Jinan Province Women’s Prison on June 23, 2026.

6. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Gao Zuokui Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison

Mr. Gao Zuokui was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Lianshan District Court on March 27, 2026. His appeal was accepted by the Huludao City Intermediate Court on June 26, 2026.

7. [Daye City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhu Xixia and Ms. Cao Zhongrong Released

Ms. Zhu Xixia was arrested at home on May 22, 2024, and later sentenced to two years in prison. She was released on May 21, 2026.

Mr. Cao Zhongrong was sentenced to four years and three months in December 2022. He was released on June 12, 2026.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Wanwu and His Wife Ms. Hu Guangyan Harassed

Mr. Zhang Wanwu and his wife, Ms. Hu Guangyan, were harassed by several officers on July 13, 2026. The police tried to trick them into opening the door by claiming there was a water leak downstairs. The couple refused.

9. [Nong’an County, Jilin Province] A Female Practitioner Harassed

A 76-year-old female practitioner was harassed near her home by two officers from the Huanglong Police Station on June 25, 2026. They took her blood sample and demanded her to go to the police station with them, which she refused.

10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Qi Zhen, Ms. Mu Chunying, Ms. Sun Guilian, Mr. Wu Yueping, Ms. Sun Shuying, and Wu were arrested by East Train Station Police Station officers on July 12, 2026. The police followed some of them for months before making the arrests.
