(Minghui.org) I went to the city to take care of my daughter-in-law during her postpartum confinement at the beginning of 2022. My entire body suddenly broke out in small red bumps, accompanied by facial swelling, high fever and an inability to eat. Some said that it was fatal for a person in their 60s to break out in rashes.
I told my son, “Since I can’t work, I’ll go home.” After I returned home a practitioner came to see me and said, “Look within, the old forces must be taking advantage of your loopholes.”
Instead of expressing concern some practitioners began criticizing me. I felt lost and I didn’t know how to overcome this tribulation. If I had an attachment, I would cultivate myself and get rid of it. If I had any shortcomings, I would change. I accepted whatever everyone said about me, but the illness symptoms did not go away.
When practitioner Anna visited me she reminded that Master said, “So why doesn’t the side of you that is your original nature rectify the Fa?” (“Expounding on the Fa,” Essentials for Further Advancement)
She said illness symptoms are a form of persecution aimed at Dafa and practitioners. With her help, I strengthened my righteous thoughts. I knew this was a battle between righteousness and evil. Apart from correcting myself, I am responsible for the beings in the universe and I need to do my best to eliminate evil. Gradually, the illness symptom disappeared and I shed layers of skin. Master once again helped me overcome a tribulation.
Last summer, a large sore developed on the inner part of my upper thigh. I could not walk and I felt miserable. I had to lie down. I knew that there must be a problem with my cultivation and I should look within to correct myself. I could not allow the old forces to persecute me.
I warned the old forces, “I’m not sick. I don’t want the karma you’re forcing on me. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner of the Fa rectification period. Only Master and Dafa arrange my cultivation path.” Then I recited the formula for sending righteous thoughts. I felt that my righteous thoughts were earth-shaking and capable of splitting mountains. In less than 10 days the interference stopped.
When this illness tribulation happened, I wasn’t afraid or worried that I wouldn’t pass the test. No matter what the old forces did, I knew I wasn’t sick. The old forces were just trying to make me think the fake symptoms were real. However, we have Master and the Fa. This experience made me believe even more in Master and the Fa and I’m very grateful to Master for helping me!
While my practitioner husband and I weren’t home the village head led police officers from the local station to carry out a massive raid on the front and back yards of our home, carrying away three truckloads of our property, valued at 15,000 yuan [$2,223].
I told the other practitioners what happened and we posted stickers which had information about the incident on utility poles to expose this evil deed to villagers. The notices included the village official’s name and described how he broke the law by trespassing on private property and that he committed a theft.
The village officials flew into a rage and called the police. About 10 vehicles from the police bureau and the local police station arrived. The officers took a few photos of the notices at the village entrance, and left. They did not take them down. The old forces’ plan to arrest me failed. The three village officials also realized that what they did was unreasonable so they greeted me warmly when they met me on the street.
In 2019, the police raided my house. At that time, I was in my back yard and I shouted loudly, “Fellow villagers, come and take a look at these police who are climbing over people’s walls like thieves.” I ran away. I heard that they laid out the confiscated items in the alley and filmed them—they were trying to find “evidence.” After 10 days I returned home, only to be reported by a village official’s wife. I was taken to the police station.
At the police station, I calmed down and thought about what I did wrong. I usually ignored safety. I placed the Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials anywhere. I also ignored safety when I used my mobile phone. I felt this was the biggest loophole and I should correct it.
The third day I was detained, the police from the bureau brought me to trial, but I kept quiet. On the tenth day, the procuratorate summoned me for questioning, and said that if I cooperated and made a statement they would let me go home. After considering it for a while I said, “I can do it, but I have a condition. You have to write down everything I say.” They agreed.
I clearly laid out the facts, including how the village officials and local police officers climbed over my courtyard walls to break into my home to steal my belongings. I asked them how those who knowingly broke the law should be charged. They wrote down everything I said.
People who committed crimes were brought to the detention center. I talked to them and asked them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Seven people agreed to quit.
I focused on sending forth righteous thoughts and said, “With Master and the Fa, I will be fine. I hand my life and everything to Master. Master makes the final decision and I will follow his arrangements.”
On the 15th day, I was released and I returned home. On the way back, my two daughters told me about their experience in asking for my release at the police station. My eldest daughter said that her sister went to the police station many times to ask for my release. In the last attempt, she called the station chief.
My eldest daughter said, “When you will let my mother come home?” The chief replied, “I do not know. She may be receiving a prison sentence.”
My daughter said, “Prison sentence? She’s always been an honest, decent person and hasn’t done anything wrong. So why is she being sentenced?”
The younger daughter said, “On what basis are you holding my mother? You arrest whomever you please, what is the legal basis for this? We want to hire a lawyer.”
Hearing that, I was very comforted and said, “Children, you have done great. What you have done was really great!”
Since this persecution began, there have been so many stories. Master protects me through trials and tribulations. I really have no words to express my gratitude to Master.
