(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Yan Jingqiu was scheduled to be tried by the Shinan Court on July 29, 2026.
Ms. Gao Fengqin was arrested by Baojian Road Police Station officers on July 1, 2026, for distributing Falun Gong materials. She was issued an arrest warrant on July 16, by the Daoli District Procuratorate.
Wang Yingcheng, gender unknown, was arrested by Renzhao Town Police Station officers at 5 a.m. on July 22, 2026.
Ms. Ji Yueying is facing indictment by the Shibei Procuratorate.
Ms. Lou Amei, 79, has been missing since July 22, 2026. Her family suspect that she has been arrested.
Ms. Liu Mei was arrested on April 10, 2026. She was first held at the Dandong City Detention Center, and then transferred to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on July 22, to re-serve a two-year term she was given in 2022. She was found to have a massive teratoma tumor, yet the authorities denied her medical parole.
Ms. Li Guiping was arrested around July 22, 2026. The police raided her home and confiscated her two laptops, an iPad, a cell phone, and several Falun Gong books. She is currently held at Beijing First Detention Center on criminal detention.
Mr. Zhao Zhanghe was harassed on July 27, 2026. The police confiscated over ten Falun Gong books from him and uninstalled the satellite dish receiver that he used to watch uncensored news from overseas media.
Mr. Wang Guohui was released from the prison on July 18, 2026, after serving a prison term of four years and four months.
Ms. Zeng Lingqiong is facing indictment, as the police has submitted his case to the local procuratorate.
Ms. Zhao Xia, in her 60s, was arrested on January 17, 2026, by officers from Shuidao Police Station. The officers confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, several issues of Minghui Weekly, and two desk calendars. She was interrogated at the police station, and questioned about the source of the books and desk calendars. She was then taken to the Mouping District Detention Center for 15 days.
Ms. Zheng Cuiyu was arrested on July 12, 2026, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated all her Falun Gong books. Due to her high blood pressure, she was denied admission by the local detention center.
Ms. Lu Zhanping’s pension has been suspended for six years.
Ms. Wan Taoying was sentenced to 15 months by the Minqing County Court in July 2026. She is currently held at the Fuzhou City Second Detention Center.
