(Minghui.org) When she heard that practitioners are being persecuted and even face forced organ harvesting in China because of their faith, Ms. Dianna Ruff, who cares for children with special needs said she felt a strong contrast, “It is so peaceful and harmonious here, yet I’m also hearing about such atrocities. This contrast is too scary. Fortunately, Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance still exist.”

Ms. Ruff learned about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) decades-long persecution when she spoke with Falun Dafa practitioners during their events on the weekends of August 14 to 22, 2026, which they held in the Belleville, Place d’Italie, and Châtelet districts of Paris.

This chance encounter on the streets of Paris not only gave people an insight into the persecution in China, they learned about Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Many people condemned these egregious human rights violations and signed a petition to end it.

The International Community Should Condemn the Persecution

Michelle Fatoux who lives outside Paris and is a social worker, talked with Falun Dafa practitioners during their event in the Châtelet district of Paris, on August 22. When she learned that people are persecuted because they live by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and that the CCP targets them for organ harvesting, it took a long while for her to calm down. “I could not find suitable words to express the seriousness of this violence,” Fatoux said, “This is torture. Such acts should be condemned by the international community.”

She thought that forced live organ harvesting not only harms individual lives, it also gravely tramples upon basic human dignity and the moral base line. “They take their organs and sell them. This kind of illegal inhumane act should be condemned and the international community should pay attention.”

What particularly struck Fatoux was the practitioners’ choice to publicly recount their painful experiences in a peaceful manner despite facing long term persecution. “Such a situation is so insidious and oppressive. It is truly admirable that you have the courage to expose it,” she said.

Everyone Should Abide by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance

Brahim Nasri from Algeria works at an airport in Paris. He stood in front of the practitioners’ display board for a long time and read the information. He told practitioners that he was deeply shocked to learn how practitioners in China are persecuted, in particular having their organs forcibly removed, and said, “I’m able to live a peaceful life, while people elsewhere in the word, especially in China, are suffering such hardships.”

And when he learned that Falun Dafa’s guiding principles are Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance, he said, “These are principles that all humankind should abide by.” He added, “Without these values humanity will have no future. These are values that every rational and compassionate person should uphold.”
