1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guan Ping Sentenced

Ms. Guan Ping was arrested by Linsheng Police Station officers on August 26, 2025, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison. She is now serving time in the 12th Division of Liaoning Province Women’s Prison.

2. [Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Xueqing Formally Arrested

Ms. Chen Xueqing was arrested on July 20, 2026. She was first subjected to 15 days of administrative detention, then put under criminal detention on August 3. The local procuratorate issued an arrest warrant for her on August 13. Ms. Chen is being held at the Shaoguan City Detention Center.

3. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pang Shuyue Detained

Ms. Pang Shuyue was arrested by Beihuanlu Police Station officers on August 13, 2026. She is being held at the Qinhuangdao City Detention Center.

4. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Yudong’s Home Ransacked

Mr. Zhang Yudong’s home was ransacked by three officers from the Ganguantun Town Police Station on August 14, 2026. They seized several copies of Falun Gong books, informational printouts, and an electric tricycle.

5. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuzhi Harassed

Police officers harassed Ms. Wang Xiuzhi at her home on August 14, 2026. They photographed her without her consent.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Guirong’s Medical Parole Denied

Ms. Zhang Guirong, nearly 80, was arrested at home on June 9, 2026. She was first held at the Wuhan City First Women’s Detention Center and recently transferred to the Ankang Hospital, which is affiliated with the Wuhan City Police Department. Even though she is in critical condition, the authorities refuse to release her on medical bail.

7. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hu Chunxia Arrested

Ms. Hu Chunxia, 75, and her husband, 77, were arrested at home on August 12, 2026. The police ransacked their place and confiscated Falun Gong books and posters. The elderly couple were interrogated at a local police station and released late at night.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Hu Fangyan Repeatedly Harassed

Ms. Hu Fangyan was harassed at work on August 12, 2026, by an officer from the Nanfaxin Police Station who demanded to have her home address. When she refused to provide it, the officer returned for the next two days and attempted to get her information from her manager.
