(Minghui.org) A 61-year-old man in Jinan City, Shandong Province, was sentenced to 14 months for his faith in Falun Gong, Minghui.org learned recently.
Mr. Wang Fuxing was arrested with over 40 other local Falun Gong practitioners on September 29, 2025. His case was initially handled by the Changqing District Procuratorate but was later handed over to the Tianqiao District Procuratorate. The Tianqiao District Court returned the case to the Changqing District Police Department multiple times citing insufficient evidence.
Mr. Wang eventually stood trial in mid-August 2026 and was sentenced weeks later.
His conviction brings the total number of sentenced practitioners following the mass arrest to eight. Minghui.org previously reported that seven other practitioners were sentenced as of July 2026. See the related reports for details of those cases.
