Falun Gong practitioners held a rally on Amsterdam’s Dam Square on July 19, to commemorate practitioners who died during the persecution. Two human rights associations issued statements marking the 27th anniversary of the persecution.
Practitioners dressed in white—symbolizing mourning and solemnity—demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises. Some sat in pairs, holding portraits of fellow practitioners who died in China as a result of the persecution.
Practitioners held an event in Zagreb, Croatia on July 18, calling for an end to the CCP’s 27-year persecution of Falun Gong. Many passersby visited the booth and learned about Falun Gong and the persecution.
