This month last year, a most notorious page in human history was revealed. The Chinese government, manipulated by a few people with ulterior motives, left a most shameful memory in the history of China; i.e., it declared Falun Dafa, which has helped tens of millions of people elevate their moral standards and improve their physical and mental health, as illegal. From then on, the Chinese government started a villainous crackdown on Falun Dafa disciples.

One of the police substations in the Haidian District in Beijing is a big and famous one in the District. Since July 22, 1999, some mysterious things have been happening, whereas they are quite clear in the minds of Falun Dafa practitioners.

Canadian practitioners of Falun Gong asked the federal government yesterday to urge China to ease its year-old crackdown on the religious group.
"Today, the Falun Dafa Association of Canada is holding national events in Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver to reveal the truth of Falun Gong and to call on the Canadian government to urge China to stop persecution," said Xun Li, a national spokesman for the association.
